Nothing has ever come easy for Jace Lawless, captain of the salvage vessel Mutiny. Forced into thievery after a virus unleashed by the InnerWorld Government killed his family, only one ambition burns at the back of his mind. Kill the next IWOG officer he has at his mercy.
Bargaining over goods with a middleman isn-t exactly his strong suit. But who in his right mind spends an entire salvage job-s profits on a woman, even if she has a body built for sin and eyes so fathomless a man could lose himself in them? He must be getting soft.

Once Kraft realizes Jace expects only the -cook- part of their cook-whore contract, she sets out to change his antiquated ideas about women. A challenge she relishes, especially if it earns her the freedom and money to get her own ship. Her big mistake is letting down her guard.

Shameless flirting only intensifies the itch to ride Jace hard and put him away wet-several times. It-s an itch it would be dangerous to scratch. Exposing her heart could reveal her secret, one that the still-grieving Jace must never know-or showing her mercy will be the last thing on his mind.

Warning: Contains a celibate ship captain who can-t abide swearing, a kick-ass woman with a marshmallow heart, a motley crew of misfits, interstellar battles, thwarted groping, sensual seduction, and a total bastard who owns his own planet.

This was an exciting space adventure! To tell you the truth I didn’t know if I would like this, but as I kept reading the more I liked it. Anitra keeps dropping bombs on you, just when you think the h/h are going to get along, BAM! Something huge hits them and throws them apart again, that’s when I would be sucked in again just to see how they were going to work their way out of the next mess. Needless to say this is not a quick read its one that you want to savor as you read and really pay attention to see it you can find out what comes next and I never could..

This warning label just about says it all for what you get; Warning: Contains a celibate ship captain who can’t abide swearing, a kick-ass woman with a marshmallow heart, a motley crew of misfits, interstellar battles, thwarted groping, sensual seduction, and a total bastard who owns his own planet. I will add humor, emotions and some very exciting fighting action along with a great cast of characters.
I simply loved the first of the book when the two crews meet it was so funny and Heller, he is just a hoot that really needs to get some sex to calm him down * wicked grin* I hope he gets a book soon!
Jace and Kraft I loved them both. The biggest problem some may have is you want to see them talk their feelings out more, but not every thing is cut and dried, so the way this plays out is a no fun picnic for them and it’s a very emotional ride. You get a lot of sexual tension and the sex is there just not a whole lot, what’s there is very tasteful and enough to keep you going. I am so glad the villain in this story gets what he so deserves.
Kraft is a little different then most people, she has a touch of paranormal. She can do things and read things that no one can, so this makes the story more interesting and if you a PNR reader that likes futuristic, I totally recommend this book.
I could tell you so much more, but I just cant give it all out, so if your in the mood for a deep space adventure, please try this. This is very well explained and I am so looking forward to book two.. I hope its Payton and Garrett….

This book gets a Top Bite Award!

Absolutely Positively Fantastic Read! HOT! HOT! HOT EROTICA!

I loved this book for many reasons. One, I have never read a lycan (were-wolf)book mixed with the myth of mermaids and the magic of a sea witch. It was totally awesome and so exciting.

A Sea Witch "Urbana “could call men to the sea and then kill them for her own pleasure but when Ceana rescue's her brother the witch curses her and takes her to the sea turning her into a mermaid to live beneath the waves except for the night of the full moon where she can go ashore. The curse can only be broke by a man from land, born under the cancer sign, of the Night, and ruled by the moon but his love must be pure.

The erotica romance is so hot and you know when a were-wolf is involved, they can go on forever - LOL Ian (were-wolf) and his brothers were comical and I burst out laughing at many of their comments. I just can't say enough good things about this book. It is a must read and a keeper for the book shelves.

It is a short book of about 75 pages but it is fantastic. I wanted more.

Guest Post with author Anitra Lynn McLeod and give away of Thief

Please welcome author Anitra Lynn McLeod! Anitra is fabulous to talk to, so don't be shy because Anitra will be here all weekend! Today will be a guest post for her new release Thief 11/2/10, then tomorrow I will have my review of Thief with a surprise for Anitra and Sunday I have fun interview for Anitra. So make sure you check back.

Welcome to the Fringe

In 2476 there are hundreds of terraformed worlds, most run by the InnerWorld Government (IWOG), a fascist regime ruthless in maintaining their bottom line. The other planets are run by the OuterWorld Alliance Group (WAG), a democratic bureaucracy living in constant fear of IWOG civilization attempts. A dangerous freedom can be found on the Fringe, the fluctuating border between the Inner and Outer Worlds. This realm is one of thieves, middlemen, and scroungers, all scrabbling out an existence in a brutal world where death lurks at every turn.

On the edge of freedom lies a dangerous love . . .

Nothing has ever come easy for Jace Lawless, captain of the salvage vessel Mutiny. Forced into thievery after a virus unleashed by the InnerWorld Government killed his family, only one ambition burns at the back of his mind. Kill the next IWOG officer he has at his mercy.

Bargaining over goods with a middleman isn't exactly his strong suit. But who in his right mind spends an entire salvage job's profits on a woman, even if she has a body built for sin and eyes so fathomless a man could lose himself in them? He must be getting soft.

Once Kraft realizes Jace expects only the "cook" part of their cook-whore contract, she sets out to change his antiquated ideas about women. A challenge she relishes, especially if it earns her the freedom and money to get her own ship. Her big mistake is letting down her guard.

Shameless flirting only intensifies the itch to ride Jace hard and put him away wet--several times. It's an itch it would be dangerous to scratch. Exposing her heart could reveal her secret, one that the still-grieving Jace must never know . . . showing her mercy will be the last thing on his mind.

Warning: Contains a celibate ship captain who can't abide swearing, a kick-ass woman with a marshmallow heart, a motley crew of misfits, interstellar battles, thwarted groping, sensual seduction, and a total bastard who owns his own planet.

Thief excerpt

Kraft willingly cooked, willingly fought, and claimed she would willingly whore. By her own honor, she offered the full of herself up to him, but Jace sensed that she expected him to restrain himself by his own dictates of honor. Asking her to cook and fight was one thing, but asking her to whore? Well, that was an entirely different matter.
When she saw him approach, Kraft stood at full attention with her face demurely lowered. All at once he felt a foot taller than her when he wasn’t.
He’d ordered her to his bunk as a spur-of-the-moment way to get her to stop defying his authority. He never thought Kraft would actually obey. Now that she had, he wasn’t sure what to do with her. Feeling awkward and shy, he thought the first thing he should do was explain and apologize.
Embarrassment at her having saved him and his crew fueled his need to remind her and himself that he was in charge. As he drew close to her, he longed to reach out and touch her face. On a rush of emotion, he wanted to confess that he didn’t always know what to do, or how to proceed, and sometimes acted rashly, fueled more by his heart than his head.
As a captain, Jace wanted to ask for her help and make her his partner in crime. Perversely, he felt he shouldn’t need her help and should make her his partner in bed. As a man, Jace wanted to possess the full of Kraft. He wanted to protect her even though he knew he couldn’t. Worse, he knew he didn’t have to coddle Kraft, which only increased his longing to claim her as his bedwarmer. Beyond that corral of confusion, Jace knew Kraft shouldn’t have to protect him.
Instead of saying anything, he unlocked his bunk with a slap of his hand to the wall com. The metal catch released with a soft snick that vibrated the floor below their feet.
Her braless breasts jiggled against the worn yellow fabric of his secondhand shirt. The enticing movement caught his attention, and he forgot what he intended to say. Instead, he found himself imagining what she would look like topless.
“If you’d like, I could put the harem outfit on.”
His gaze went from her chest to her mouth.
Lifting her lowered face a fraction, Kraft met his gaze, and whispered, “Someone placed the costume in my closet.” She flashed him that slow, lazy and sexy smile.
Jace had no idea who put the outfit in her closet, but he wouldn’t mind seeing her in that getup again. Fluffpink clinging and exposing the full promise of her undeniably strong and sexy body was certainly worth a second look. After seeing her in the revealing outfit, he knew her nipples were large and toffee-dark against her skin. He remembered the snug slit of her innie bellybutton drawing his gaze down to the wide pleasure of her hips. Between her lush thighs, he would find another snug—
“Should I fetch that costume, Captain?”
Her seductive, superior attitude dispelled all his thoughts of apologizing. Kraft didn’t worry one bit about him taking charge, because she assumed she had the upper hand. His blushing and backing off made her think she could say or do anything, and he’d just turn away. Normally he would have, but not this time.
Slipping a finger under her chin, he lifted her face until she met his gaze. Fathomless black eyes held a smirk that he wanted to quash in a sudden rush. For the first time, she didn’t flinch away from his touch. She melted to him as he stroked his finger across her full, sensuous lips. More than anything in the Void, he wanted to kiss her. He wanted to taste every bit of her luscious mouth. Kraft had a body built for sin, but she had a mouth destined for seduction.
Jace lowered his voice as his mouth descended on hers. “Seems like a waste of time for you to put on all those complicated clothes when I’m just going to make you take them off.”
Her eyes widened.
Placing his mouth to her ear, he whispered, “Or did you want to dress up and then strip for me?”
She tensed and swallowed with an audible click.
He pressed closer. “I’ve never had a whore in my bed. If you’re familiar with the concept, maybe you could walk me through it.”
Kraft pulled back and narrowed her gaze. “After ten years of celibacy, I think a walk is all it would take.”
“Is that so?” Refusing to back down, Jace traced his finger along her ear to her neck. “Since it’s been a decade for me, I’m thinking you won’t be able to walk by the time I’m satisfied.”
Her jaw damn near hit the floor.
Jace took a perverse delight in shocking her, and her dismay made him even more determined to make her back down this time. Even if he had to say the most vulgar things in the Void, he would force her retreat.
“I can’t believe you’re surprised.” He stroked her lips with a forceful fingertip. “You can read me so well, right?”
She darted her gaze to the floor. “I told you, I can’t read you like that. I can read—”
Plush lips gave way below the thrust of his silencing finger. When her hungry eyes met his, he said, “Don’t try to distract me. I don’t care what you can read. You don’t have to read me. I’ll tell you what I want.”
Lowering his mouth to her neck, he nipped lightly. “I want you.” After pulling her mocha skin, marking her, he lifted his mouth to her ear. “I want you writhing and panting and sweating below my thrusting body.”
She placed her large hands on his chest, pushed him back and looked him right in the eye. The depths of her black gaze swarmed with heat, smoky and slightly unfocused. “You want me by force?”
He heard the catch in her voice and sensed her desperation. He smiled at her as he answered her question with one of his own. “How can I force you when sex is part of your contract, my lovely cook-whore?”
Kraft withdrew with a startled step back. She pressed against the metal door of his bunk and flattened her palms against the smooth durosteel to steady herself.
Closing in on her, he took a half-step forward and placed his palms on the door, encasing her with his arms. In a tingling rush, a fleeting ripple washed over his body, and he wondered if he could actually feel Kraft trying to read him through the door. He forced himself to contain the rush by focusing his mind and constricting his body to a tense stance.
Kraft stood taller. Confusion and fear darted across her expressive face. He wondered if the darkness in him caused her reaction, or if he’d succeeded in preventing her from reading him. Either way, he sensed his advantage.
Pressing his mouth to her ear, he whispered, “What’s wrong, sugar-britches? I thought you were all for this kind of dance between us, especially after what you said in the cargo bay.”
With her back to his bunk door, she lifted her face and the whole of her body until she met his gaze with level intensity. Since she couldn’t force him to retreat verbally, she now tried to force his retreat with the fierceness of her gaze, and it almost worked.
He fought down the urge to step back by moving closer. She radiated the scents of cooking, but below, he found that enticing hint of her musky perfume. Her scent was rich, intoxicating and alluring. He wanted to find the source of her fragrance and lose himself in it.
“Just give me the order, Captain Lawless, and I’ll ride you until we both collapse.”
One fleeting vision of her proudly riding astride him caused him to blush and turn away. The triumphant look on her face clarified she thought such a command a distinct impossibility.
She seemed pleased that she’d finally forced him to back down. He watched Kraft’s pulse jump below the smooth skin of her neck when he closed in on her and said, “That’s an order I’m not likely to give.”
Her lips parted in surprise. She lowered her face but not her gaze.
“I wouldn’t order you to ride me because I like to be on top.”
He forced her chin up so their lips came close without touching. “Stop giving me that submissive face when you’ve got nothing behind it but arrogance.”
Kraft stood tall. “I thought you preferred submissive women?”
“As a matter of fact I do.” Tracing his finger along the open V of her shirt, he smoothed the fabric against the curve of her breasts and popped open one of the small wooden buttons. “Do you like submissive men?”
She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, but it caught in her throat. When he looked down, he discovered her nipples were pressed tight against the soft yellow fabric of his old shirt.
He chuckled and stroked the barest brush of his fingertip over the swell of her nipple. “Obviously not.”

Spine-tingling, touching and pure captivating! I would love to see this in a movie. This is an excellent bone chilling thriller one that as I read I felt like I could be right there because the detail is so well written, lets just say don’t read this without a lot of light, I had goose bumps as I read. You’ll find a touch or horror, paranormal, suspense and mystery and I highly recommend this to anyone that reads any of them listed. You will also find. There are witches, ghost, a curse, reincarnation and revenge.

This is a romance story and there is some little flirty comments between Emily and Jonathan, but there is no real sex scene between them, there is mention of sex in dreams and past lives. Don’t let that discourage you from getting this book because their romance will grow in up coming books. I am one I need at least a few pages of a h/h going at it, but I didn’t miss it in this story, it was just to thrilling.

The author gives you plenty about this book on her website. Please check it out. So this is what I will tell you. When Emily first goes to England at the age of fourteen she finds herself in her aunt and uncles house in the attic with ghosts and the more she digs to find out who they are the more she finds people there just don’t want to talk about it. So Emily finds different ways to find out who the ghost are. Jonathan helps out some. You know how it goes someone tells you to stay out of the woods and guess what Emily does the opposite she goes in there to finds out more, so you know that didn’t go to well. Its when Emily comes back a few years later at the age of twenty that she finds out a whole lot more of what is going on and she also finds the one responsible for this sinister twisted ghostly tale is out for revenge and its Emily she is after.

I loved the characters the way the books flows its very easy to understand. I will add this book is part of a trilogy, so when it ends you know there is more to come. I cant wait to read the second book.

This book gets Top Bite Award. I have suggest this book to all of my friends at goodreads and I suggest it to any follower of the blog that would love an excellent thriller.

Enjoyable Paranormal Historical Romance!

What a fantastic twist to put in a Historical Romance. It's bad enough that the Civil War is going on but when you add a plague of rouge vampires to the mix, the fight between the North and South gets put on the back burner as Cole (Texas Sheriff) and Megan (half vampire), along with a few troops fight to put a stop to the spreading blood disease before it spreads nationwide.

The romance was such a tease throughout the whole book and I have to say that as I patiently waited for an erotic love scene between Cole and Megan, I was totally surprised how the author took beautiful words to describe the act of sex. Her words were very visionary and I found myself liking it as though I was reading erotica words.

Passionate and entertaining. I was really surprised with this one, I did’t think the author would have time in such a short novella to pull this story off, but she did. This is a very enjoyable read and again another fun read that wont take up a lot of your time. I would recommend this to any erotic reader that loves a cowboy storyline along with sexual tension and wicked hot sex.
I don’t want to give out much, I will say sometimes you find out things are not what you were led to believe so expect a surprise. I love the cowboy Richard he is passionate about his family’s land and will do anything to keep it. Same thing with Julia she is passionate about keeping what is hers, so she will do anything to keep what’s hers too.

Tina Folsom never ceases to amaze me with her writing. A Touch of Greek is brilliant! I love to read a book that holds my attention and one that plays out in my head like a movie, this book done that and more. Do have a love for reading about Greek gods, like I do, if so I would highly recommend this book. Tina adds a twist on the gods along with romance, its superb. You’ll find romance with humor, danger, sexy gods and some sizzling hot sex.

Now before I go into the H/H, I want to let you know this is a series. You’ll be introduced to Triton, Dionysus, Eros, and Hermes. So you will get a glimpse of them and what they are like. I really was intrigued by Dionysus and cant wait for his book.

Hero, Triton
Greek gods are always trying to manipulate, either another gods life or a human life it doesn’t matter to them who as along as they have fun. This one Zeus and Poseidon is playing with Triton, well lets just say Triton is not so innocent either he loves women a little to much;) So Triton finds himself in America up a creek with out a paddle, trying to find some lady to love him, but there is a catch he doesn’t know the gods added a twist to the deal. What have the gods changed now? Well you’ll have to read and find out how. I really liked Triton he has a god attitude, so you know he has no care, but as you read he starts to care. It was very interesting the way Tina brings him to the end of his punishment.

Heroine, Sophie
I really enjoyed Sophie. Her aunt is dead and she is trying to make her old home a B&B, needless to say there can be danger in this when your evil cousin is breathing down your neck. When Sophie has her first accident and looses her eye sight there is no way she can finish the B&B in time without help and where is she going to get it?

Now I just hope I don’t have long to wait for the next book…

I wanted to add I read on Tina's blog this will be coming in paperback around Dec., along with a lot of her other books. So if you not a fan of eBooks you can get this then.

Guest author Katie Salidas Halloween Fantasies tour

I have here with us today paranormal author Katie Salidas. You may remember she was here a few weeks back, now she is here for her wounderful book Halloween Fantasies, I have read it and really enjoyed it my review will be on here tomorrow so please check back. Now please welcome Katie!

Please write 200-250 words on at least one of these questions or both if you want?
Why do you like Halloween?

What’s not to like about Halloween? It’s probably one of the most fun holidays of the year.
As a kid, it was always about the candy. I loved to put on the masks and wander around at night holding out my hands, expecting a treat in return. Mom and Dad would let me stay up late while “spooky” marathons played on TV but I never cared what was on TV. It was all about the candy stash.
As I got older, it became more about the costume and pretending. I fell in love with vampires at a young age and loved to be them for Halloween, (I had a serious gothic thing working during the teen years). There were costume contest and great parties to attend. Being in costume was freeing in a way. I could be something totally different for the night. I could really get into character.
That’s when it hit me. No other holiday lets you step out of your own life like Halloween does. It’s the one night of the year where it is ok… and even expected of you, to be something you aren’t. There is a certain magic in Halloween. It allows you to be silly, serious, or even scary. The point is, it makes you shed your boring skin and be something fun.
That’s kind of what helped to inspire Halloween Fantasies, my newest Erotic novella.
In Las Vegas, there are many Halloween parties. One in particular is the Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball. It’s definitely a place to let loose.
Sasha, my character in the book, doesn’t get to wear the costume she picked for Halloween, instead she is forced to be something different and because of that her whole evening changes. Being something completely different than what she planned is the catalyst that allows her to explore fantasies she had only ever dreamed about.

To her surprise, Lady Mallory Byron finds herself walking down the aisle with the last man she ever expected to ask for her hand.

Everyone knows the Byron brothers are “mad, bad, and dangerous.” Now their sister shockingly discovers she’s the newest talk of the Ton when she marries the scandalous Earl of Gresham. Faced with a tragic loss, she’d sought comfort from him as a family friend. But soon consolation turned to passion, scandal––and a wedding! In the bridal bed, she finds pleasure beyond her wildest dreams. But can nights of wicked delight change friendship into true love?

Charming rakehell Adam, Earl of Gresham, has secretly loved Mallory for years. He lost her once to another man, but now he has a second chance to win her love––and plans to do so by any means necessary. Will Mallory’s heart give him what he so dearly desires? Or is the past too much to overcome?

Lady Mallory Bryon has been in mourning for the past year following the tragic death of her beloved fiancé, Major Michael Hargreaves. In her sorrow, Mallory has hidden herself away from friends and family; seldom venturing from her rooms. Nightmares of Michael’s death on the battlefield haunt her at night. All of this begins to change when Adam, Earl of Gresham, her best friend for many years, arrives.

Adam has loved Mallory since she was 16, but due to certain circumstances, was unable to act upon. He lost her once; he won’t let it happen again. Adam begins to slowly draw Mallory out of her desolation. It’s as if he is courting her without a chaperone. After all, they are such good friends, they don’t need one. Only Mallory doesn’t realize Adam’s real motive. They are caught in a compromising position which leads to an unexpected marriage proposal. Adam is overjoyed but Mallory is hesitant.

Count this as a mere taste, sweetheart, of all the pleasure I can give you. Marry me and let me show you more. Be mine, and I’ll take you on a journey the likes of which you’ve ever only imagined.

Excuse me? Hello? I’m not refusing that!

Adam loves Mallory so deeply my heart ached for him at times. He would do anything for her, sacrifice anything for her, and please her in every way. But don’t get me wrong. Adam is a possessive alpha who doesn’t want to relinquish what he has wanted all along. Yet, Mallory is reluctant to give him her heart.

It was refreshing to read a story where the hero has loved the heroine all along; to watch the love bloom and grow. This is the first book of Ms. Warren’s that I have read. I liked the cover and the blurb on the back. Now, I’ll be looking into more of her work.
