His love could save her…
In more ways than one.

With the scandalous nature of her birth to live down, Isabella Fairmont dreams of a proper marriage—even if a passionless one. She saves her deepest desires for the novel she dares to pen, wherein a handsome lord with dark powers seduces her. But then her courtship with an appropriate suitor is threatened by the sudden attentions of the reclusive Earl of Black…whose pale blue eyes and brooding sensuality are exactly as she described in her book.

Isabella tries to resist the mysterious Earl of Black. Yet as he pursues her, with inexplicable knowledge of her past and kisses that consume her, Isabella fears she will succumb.

If only the earl could tell Isabella the truth. With very real, and treacherous, thieves endangering her life, Black will need to protect Isabella from the very people she trusts the most…

The first novel in a new, historical series from Ms. Featherstone offers an extraordinary tale of extreme passion, mystery and intrigue. Here, the passion of Isabella and Black is fundamentally entwined with the mystery and magic of the Brethren Guardian storyline. SEDUCTION AND SCANDAL harkens back to the days of the gothic romance. The opening lines of the novel are a good example.

SEDUCTION & SCANDAL EXCERPT

Isabella’s mother passes away and “Issy” is sent to live with her cousin. But before Issy leaves, she commits an act so horrendous and shameful, that she will do anything to keep it hidden. Issy feels that it was passion and lust that killed her mother; she is determined not to let that happen to her. Instead, Issy lets her passion flow through the hidden novels she pens and settles into marrying a dull, boring man.

Lord Black has watched Issy from afar and he can no longer keep his distance. His possessiveness of Issy is almost, almost overwhelming. When these two are together, you can feel the sizzle and burn. The story gets even better when secrets of her past start to emerge and danger from Black’s Brethren Guardians raises its ugly head.

I must mention Issy’s cousin, Lucy. She is the complete opposite of Isabella. She has known love and passion, and lost them both. On the outside, she is the life of the party; never wanting to disappoint. But secretly, she will do anything, going as far as the occult to find the love she lost.

In SEDUCTION AND SCANDAL, Ms. Featherstone has a bit of the Templar legend, some occult, a little magic and the beguilement of Death. She is adept at taking the hunger and passion of romance to a benchmark level.

The Unseelie King (Dark Fae) falls in love/lust with the Seelie Queen (Good Fae), but she doesn’t love him - - so, he kidnaps her. Fast forward. . . She bears him twin sons and then takes off with one, Crom, but leaves the other one, Niall. Oh yeah, she also leaves one nasty curse behind too. Each of the Unseelie King’s sons will be cursed with a Cardinal Sin. In order for the Unseelie Court to thrive, the Sons will have to find their virtue/mate. That said mate will have to come to them of their own free will.

George Buckman, Duke of Lennox, has made a deal with the devil(s). Trouble is, he doesn’t know which one is worse. And when it comes time to pay his dues, both parties are looking to collect the same piece of booty bounty. This part of the story and the basic storyline, I really enjoyed. Watching the two battling Courts: Seelie and Unseelie. Wanting the best Fae to win, but not always knowing who the best Fae will be. Niall and Rinion are Dark Fae that will not be denied.

Chastity (a way of life that does not include any sexual activity): One entity. She cannot separate herself from her virtue. Thane and Lust: Two entities yet one, and both must be satisfied. A deliberate and, at times, tedious seduction of Chastity begins. For that to occur, Thane taps into Chastity’s darkest desire (aha moment). He surrounds, envelopes, and overwhelms her with his physical essence by way of fog, cloud, mist and perfume. Until she finally caves. Yet, he wasn’t supposed to use any Fae magic. There were two scenes in particular that were troublesome for me; more so what happens to Chastity immediately afterward. Although, it has more to do with my distaste of love making by spectral means. Oh, but the pointy ear scene was vera, vera nice.

What had possessed her? She had not been able to resist the lure. And yet, it had been a dream. No. She had been awake, but in some altered state. A fantasy. Yes. That is what it had been.

It will be quite a while before I look at a glass perfume bottle without cynicism.

Oh wait…a dream, a horrible dream…Bobby?!?

Paranormal Romance/Erotica

Heavenly bad boys ... these aren't the angels they taught you about in Sunday School! Gadriel is a Watcher--and a Fallen Angel. The Angel of War. Cast out of Heaven for hating humans, and for failing to bow before them, he's come to Earth to enact his vengeance upon his brothers, and an unsuspecting mortal. When a human woman enters his life, events are set in motion that neither of them can stop. For, unknown to the humans, there is a war in Heaven, a war between the faithful and the fallen that has been locked in stalemate for centuries. Gadriel alone has the power to change the tides--for either side. But does he want it? Can his desire for this human run deeper than physical lust, or has he truly fallen beyond redemption?

REVIEW:

SEXUAL:

YES! YES! YES! EXCELLENT EROTICA!

OMG, I totally loved it and want more. Ok, I am calming down now so I can do the review (laughing out loud).

First let me tell you that this Fallen Angel is pure sex on two legs and more. Even though he was kicked out of heaven for hating humans his stubbornness soon changes when he is almost ran over with a car by Nadira and she turns his world upside down.

Nadira is a little different from most for she does believe in Angels and has in fact had previous visions of Angels in her past. Nadira is very compassionate and cannot leave Gadriel in the street so she takes him home to doctor him up. Only thing is, not only does he get doctored up, she gets a little love and tenderness back tenfold.

I wish love like this could happen in real life with an angel. I loved how dedicated and possessive they are towards each other. Their nights of passion bring about a new joy to this fallen angel when they learn of her pregnancy. However in order for him to keep them safe, he has to make a deal with god. You must read this wonderful story and see how Gadriel's life and feelings towards humans has changed. Now I have to read the second book in the series “Dark Admirer” to find out what happens. Great Read and the author is a great writer, I am definitely a fan now.

Paranormal Romance/Erotica

Out of all the angels, Anael is the most beautiful and virile. A creature of fire, Anael burns with sexual intensity and simmering, dark passions. He is the angel whose duty it is to foster human sexual relationships. When Anael is sent to Earth at the time of the creation of mankind, he cannot help but notice the pleasure his powers and gifts brings to men and women. A pleasure he would dearly love to experience for himself. But to do that, would mean to fall from grace. Like his other brothers, he falls into sin, delighting in the pleasures of the flesh. When he finds himself hurled from Heaven to heed the callings of a desperate man anxious to find a woman, Anael is only to willing to oblige him so he can end his curse. Only somewhere along the way, he takes a wrong turn and finds himself alone during a snowstorm with a woman he's immediately drawn to--a woman he wants sexually. But it's more than just a burning desire for sex. For the first time Anael feels a stirring in his heart as well.

Eve Parker is lonely. She's new in the city and hasn't had an easy time making friends or meeting men--especially the kind of men she dreams about. A self described 'geeky bookworm', she takes solace in reading romances and daydreaming about her fantasies, fantasies about being the object of desire for a muscle bound God and all the hot sex he can give her. But gorgeous men don't become sexually obsessed with chubby nerds who are awkward around the opposite sex. But when Anael discovers that the man he's helping to find true love is destined to be with Eve, Anael quickly changes his mind and strikes a deal with the devil. Now handsome again, with a voice that can woo and seduce, he sets out tomake every fantasy of Eve's come true. But the devil always gets his due, and Anael is left wondering when he'll have to pay it and what the price will be.

Book description
Friends since childhood, Anais Darnby and Lindsay Markham have long harbored a secret passion for one another. When they finally confess their love, their future together seems assured, sealed with their searing embrace.
But when a debauched Lindsay is seduced by a scheming socialite, a devastated Anais seeks refuge in another man's bed while Lindsay retreats to the exotic East. There, he is seduced again—this time by the alluring red smoke and sinister beauty of opium.

Back home, Lindsay's addiction is fed by the vogue for all things Oriental—especially its sensual pleasures—in fashionable London society. In his lucid moments, Lindsay still lusts after Anais, who can neither allow him near nor forget his smoldering touch. Tortured by two obsessions—opium and Anais—Lindsay must ultimately decide which is the one he truly cannot live without.

Sexual-

Well I don’t really know how to go about this review. I will have to say this book is very well written, so just because I didn’t find it good you may. If you like having to use a whole box of tissues during the biggest part of the book, betrayals, hardships and scandals put this one on top of you list.

This book just didn’t hit my taste big time. I heard this was an emotional ride, but it's just one emotion, SAD!! So make sure you have a big box of tissues because you may just use all of them!! There was nothing I found funny or happy until the Epilogue then I read some happiness. Before I start I would like to make clear Anais is the female and Lindsay is the male. I had a hard time in the first chapter trying to keep straight who was female and male so I wanted to mention it for you.
Both Anais and Lindsay got on my nerves. Anais just didn’t want to hear anything from Lindsay after she found him having sex with Rebecca. The whole book just goes on and on with there on again, off again relationship and all they had to do was learn forgiveness or communication. Not once did either one of them stop to listen to the other. Anais avoids Lindsay who runs off looking for her and finds Opium to get high on instead. Then he just loses himself in it. When they do find each other again, and that’s when her house caught on fire and they lose it, they don’t even talk about what Lindsay did; they just have sex. Then it become’s sex while he is high on opium (Sexy isn’t it? Not for me). The next thing you know, he finds out what she has done to him and I admit it was really bad (he goes even deeper into the Opium here), but she didn’t even tell him the real truth of what actually happened (again communication please!). I mean get real just admit what you’ve done and get on with it, but no not these two! This is the whole book.
The person I felt the most sorry for was their best friend, Garrett, he was stuck in the middle between Anais and Lindsay. I found that Anais was even using him. She wouldn’t commit to marring him, but she had no problem stringing him along. The girl didn’t have a brain, that’s all I can say.

I just found Lindsay a coward. Plus I had one big problem with Lindsay, he could have sex with other women, but let him think about Anais having sex with anyone else like Garrett, (not that she did but that’s not the point) he couldn’t except that, well to me that’s a hypocrite. Anais is a ditz and they both messed up a year or more of their lives just because of their lack of communication or forgiveness.

One thing I do know was neither one of them even thought about a baby when they started having sex. I mean isn’t that one thing we think of when we have unprotected sex? So that didn’t seem real to me. I thought they would have thought of that one. Now for another matter Anais is on the bigger size, well in these times most women were, there was not to many skinny models to go by then, so her weight issue was not real to me either. I really could go on and on about how bad this book rubbed me wrong and how sad it really was, but I have already wasted to much time now just reading the book. Just make sure you read both good and bad reviews before buying this book

Cant believe I hated it right? Neither can I, but somethings just rub me wrong lol.
