Intriguing Read!

This short and interesting read wraps up the Devil’s Tavern Series by bringing the head of all the past four books to a climax of sending the evil demon creature that caused all the tormented tragedy amongst them to an end. However, the demon is clever and still has a hold on them even though they might have found their light amongst all the darkness around them.

The demon draws them to the Tavern but they are clueless to what his motives are and once they learn his plans and that they are the key to raise the fallen angel Chaos to rule the world and turn them all into slaves only their truthful light can break the trance and spell of the demon and the only way to do that is to know his name and only one person in the group knows it but can’t remember it. So the mystery adds to the excitement as it heads to its climax ending.

The story even though short, covered a lot and held my interest throughout. The romance and erotic scenes between each couple wasn’t as tense as it was in their original stories but the author did give a short insight to their past. The ending was a great climax and ended with the thought of maybe a spin off could be made from the series. I am such a huge fan of Crymsyn Harts and can’t wait to read more of her work.

My Review

I really liked all of the characters in this story. I thought they were fleshed out pretty well especially considering this was really an erotic short with an interesting paranormal twist. I thought the idea of being a storm rider was interesting, but unfortunately I never quite understood what exactly they did or why. I liked the “elementals” and thought that added another interesting twist. I was very impressed with how steamy the m/m scenes were. Hart did a great job with all of them!

Fantastic Read!

I really enjoyed this Fantasy, Wizards, mages, spells, and magical powers with lots of action entrance you right away and the romance was weaved within the story perfectly as were the love scenes that were described with creatively written clean taste that left you with all kinds of erotic visions to imagine. The story grabbed me right away with the rebellious daughter of a master wizard who wanted nothing to do with the controlled life that was set before her.

Cali, a beautiful high elf with long golden hair and blue eyes wants more out of life than following in her father’s footsteps and having her life planned out for her with an arranged marriage to a man who she didn’t love. She wanted to see the world and experience life and discover who she was.

Galadin, ½ Elven and ½ human is whisked from his mother and father as a small child and raised on the rough seas by pirates until he is old enough to stand on his own. Changing his life by helping capture the rouge pirates, he makes plenty of enemies along the way but his good doing of helping others out does the evil past he had to live to survive.

When Cali and Galadin meet, the attraction is undeniable and Cali is determined to change her life by getting Galadin to train her skills in archery and in hunting so she can protect herself once she leaves the confinement hold of her fathers. Cali’s father learns of this training, he locks her up in a room and refuses to let her out until she agrees to marry a mage she despises.

Cali’s rebellion refuses and cloaks herself invisible with magic and escapes her confinement and ends up on Galadin’s ship as a stow away. Cali forces Galadin to take her away to another island but Galadin can’t just drop her off to fend for herself and finds himself drawn to protect her from her father’s hunting party.

Cali and Galadin’s adventure is exciting, intense, and shocking as their romance blooms. The story is full of friendship, love, betrayal, loyalty, and death. The ending was very intense but glad it finally ended in a HEA.

Totally Awesome! HOT Erotica!

What a great start to a series. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough, such a great fast and short 101 page read. The two Storm Riders in this story make me want to ride a cowboy and explode like a raging tornado. I loved the chemistry between the three characters Georgiana (human/new storm rider), Landon (Storm Rider), and Wyatt (Storm Rider) – It was electrifying! I also loved the elemental horses used by the Storm Riders, they had such great characteristic personalities. To top it off, the horse George is gifted with has a fabulous name “Hurricane”. It brings to mind a song called “Rock you like a Hurricane” by Scorpions (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yP1tcy9a10). Not only does Hurricane the horse rock but Georgiana rocks both Landon and Wyatt’s World. I can’t wait to dive into the 2nd book in the series “Smoke Jumpers”.

Excellent Read!

Mythology lovers will eat this book up. The story woven for Aries the God of War is absolutely fantastic. The romance between Aries and Maggie (Alena) Macleod ½ Fey and ½ Goddess is brilliantly written with lots of emotional trials between them both. The sex scene between them is very HOT as well and will leave you in an awed and unbelieving WTF state.

I love how this book gives you the insight into the world between all the gods and goddesses with their deceit of back stabbing, jealousy rage and hatred, secrets kept to use at a later date to get their way for bargaining, love with lots of passion, and viciousness of power and abuse of power.

Some may find this read a little shocking because there are several scenes of possessiveness and brutal rape with torture, but I can promise that the revenge is kick-ass sweet that will make you want to say out loud “F#@kin A” or “Take that you A-hole” and then smile.

Excellent and Fantastic read. It was 500 pages long but every page only draws you further into the story and captures your emotions and interests immediately. I totally loved it!

I look forward to reading the next installment “Child of War” in this new series .

Interesting Read!

First let me say that the romance/erotic scenes between the m/f and m/m/f were totally HOT! The story was interesting in the fact that it involved two vampires and one supposed female human who were known as the best thieves known by reputation amongst the vampire world.

Nathanial (Nial), is one sly and sexy vampire that has a way with manipulating minds to get what he wants. I loved how sexually his actions towards Winter and Sebastian were. He seemed to never lose control and always knew how to read the others actions to make them react physically and mentally.

Winter was one bad ass chick that was human but not really human. She had human parents but she has a gift no one else has, she can reach into others by skin contact and change their biology chemistry or heal them, including her own self. For instance, she was able to heal herself from being poisoned by reaching within herself mentally and breaking down the strain of the poison and reversing it, therefore making her immortal like the vampires.

Sebastian, another sexy vampire worked with Winter for two years and had been keeping his true feelings of how he felt away from Winter. Winter had saved his ass many times but the last time was the straw that almost made him want to confess his feelings towards her, but thinking her human kept him from it even after he found out a truth she had been keeping from him. Sebastian had almost died and Winter panicked and touched him to heal him only to find out that he was darker than most humans and she healed him back to being human again not knowing he was a vampire.

The story gets interesting as Winter discovers she has inherited some traits from Sebastian she didn’t have before such as requiring blood – his blood and her eyes and hair have changed permanently .

Sebastian thinks he is turned back to being a human because of his chemistry changes within his body such as being able to eat food and craving it. However, Sebastian is having a hard time dealing with the truths and decides to run from his true feelings and tries to forget about Winter that is until his ex-lover Nial comes along and convinces Winter to help him find Sebastian.

The story heats up from there when Winter and Nial find themselves in each other’s arms with excited passion and especially when they find Sebastian and old sparks are rekindled between the ex-lover and the joining of the new lovers.

I’ve rated this a 3 ½ star because I thought there should have been a little more clarification (what kind of immortal) on what Winter truly was for it was evident she was more than human but not a vampire.

Creatively Written!

In this fascinating world within the sea, every species rules within their own hierarchy schools/councils whether they are sharks, mere-folk/dolphins, or even sea dragons. Yes these creatures are shape-shifters and some can walk on land depending on which species they are. They even inter-mate with each other creating halfblooded creatures.

This is the third installment of the Ocean Shifters series and though I haven’t read the first two books in the series, this book took me a little to get into at the beginning trying to understand and get the feel of this new shape-shifter world but after about 30 or 40 pages I was totally hooked and drawn into the story not wanting to put the book down. I will definitely be reading the first two books now.

The story was amazing and I loved the idea behind the plot. The sea creature’s characters were totally awesome and their personalities fit their species. Raider (shark/mere-man), sexy tough guy and Sophia (Sea Dragon), an innocent female, encounters between each other were very comical but their erotic love scenes were totally HOT.

I loved the good/bad guy scientist in the story and loved good overcoming evil. The Scientist David and the Mere-man Nereus relationship were sweet with the short M/M erotic scenes and were left open in the end; and I hope to read more about them both in future books.

Fantastic Sci-fi Romance Erotica! Star Track Move Over!

Wow, I really enjoyed this read. It took me a little to get into in the beginning but after about 30 pages the story took off and what an action pack adventure. Humanity’s survival is at risk on earth because of a greedy and corrupt government, however, there are pirates running around in space living the best they can by jumping other ships and stealing their cargo.

Nick Venture, an ordinary guy who has been rescued by some Corporate official doctor who sets him on a mission to find a new planet called Eden in order to save humanity. Only thing is, Nick is not a computer/science guy who fly’s spaceships, but the Corporate Officials don’t care because his Christopher Columbus heritage singling him out to be the last survivor from that line is their only hope that the new world should be discovered by.

Nicks journey and adventure begins with three spaceships and a great humorous crew. However, things get interesting when the pirate Raguel jumps his ship to steal his supplies; she is automatically sexually drawn to Nick’s sexuality radiating all kinds of sensual thoughts throughout her whole body. To make a long story short, Nick bargains with Raguel and convinces her to become their guide and protector from the corrupt government and other pirates in order to get to the New world to save earths people.

The adventure is fantastic and the sexual erotica between Nick and Raguel is pretty steamy teasing you and driving you crazy until the end when it explodes to a climaxing erotica of HOT HOT SEX scene.

There was lots of fighting action between the other pirates and the government military. I loved all the characters different personalities, some were pretty humorous. I thought the story line was well written and thought that this would make a great series/Movie as in search for new planets. The writing was very visionary and I felt like I was right there within the story. Great Read!
