Not Even Death Keeps a Good Demoness Down There’s never an end to the crazy when
you’re demon spawn. Not that Faith Bettincourt’s complaining. She’s been patching things up with her angelic on-again off-again boyfriend, Matt, and her best-friend-turned-sister-in-law is soon giving birth to the Anti-Christ Part Deux. Oh, and Faith is saving kids from Death in her pediatric unit one soul at a time. Life is good.

Until Faith accidentally runs over the Angel of Death and is forced to take his place. Now she’s taking lives instead of saving them. Which is kind of a problem when you’re a nurse. As if that weren’t bad enough, she is suddenly thrust into the worst scenario of them all--Matt’s ex Brenda is back, and she’s brought the Apocalypse with her.

Faith’s not about to give up the world...or her man. But when the chips are down, what’s a demoness supposed to do? Besides take matters into her own hands, of course.
Luck of the Devil (Speak of the Devil #1): Review
Devil May Care (Speak of the Devil #2): Review

The third book in the Speak of the Devil series is epic - as in end of the world apocalypse epic.  Faith just can't seem to keep her life normal - or a least normal for the youngest daughter of Lucifer.  Things just keep spiraling out of control and getting even more crazy.

I love Faith more and more with every page.  She is such a riot - her entire family is, but she really stands out as such a unique person.  A lover of children and a nurse, finding herself the Angel of Death is quite the life changing bummer, but she tries to deal with it.  Her way of dealing with it leads to a series of "accidents" and "incidents" that lead to the beginnings of the legendary apocalypse.

Through it all Matt remains loyal - willing to do anything to make their relationship work.  He's a great guy, but we really didn't see much of him in this one.  We do get to see more of her roommate Lisa and a lot of Howard the ghost.  All of these side characters are fantastic in their own way, but when put together the way Patricia Eimer does, they really take off and become very memorable.

This series should be a must read for lovers of snarky, smart-ass, sarcastic demons with a very, very non-traditional family tree.  I loved every minute of it.

Who knew the heavenly could be devilish?

After planning not one, but two, demonic weddings, all Faith Bettincourt—the youngest Crown Princess of Hell—wants is to spend some quality time with her angelic boyfriend, Matt. But when a girl from Matt’s past walks through Faith’s apartment door, her preoccupation with the weddings from Hell is all that’s keeping her from turning his ex, in all her devious angelic glory, into a down throw pillow.

Which is about when Matt’s zealous mother declares war on Faith’s family. But not all’s fair in love and war, and Matt’s having a hard time choosing sides.

Alone or not, Faith must rescue one of the grooms and go up against an army of so-called do-gooders, so everything can go back to normal. Or as normal as it can be where the Devil's spawn is concerned. And with any luck, she might just be able to resuscitate her love life while she's at it.
Luck of the Devil (Speak of the Devil #1): Review

This is a sort of romance - the romance with a HEA all happens in the background.  The players are all very important to both Faith and Matt, but they are definitely not the main attraction.  Faith and Matt are center stage with another angelic/demonic "incident", and it's tearing them apart.  When Matt's ex-girlfriend shows up at their door wanting to get him back - Faith tries to handle it well, but it all backfires horribly.

To top it all off Faith's ex-boyfriend is also in town and her brother was demon-napped just days before his wedding to her best friend.  Sounds like a lot to handle, but it's just the tip of the iceberg.  Matt and Faith's love for each other will really be put to the test - time and time again.

This has a much more urban fantasy feel to it, but there are two HEA's involved, so it could be called a romance as well.  I loved continuing the story of these two hilarious families who seem to be constantly wrapped up in some sort of disaster.  Lots of very humorous situations again that had be grinning through the pages.  Still loving this series.

Families can be hell. Being the youngest daughter of the Devil isn't all it's cracked up to be.
The days of teenage rebellion and vows of chastity made just to tick off her father are over, and now all Faith Bettincourt wants is a nice, quiet life.? Unfortunately, thanks to the unexpected arrival of her demonically-downsized sister, a ditzy succubus roommate, and dear old Dad himself, Faith's plans for a relaxing vacation spent watching reruns go up in flames. Now it's all Faith can do to keep the family reunion from Hell (literally) under wraps, and the angellically-inclined hottie across the hall from realizing there's something weird about his neighbor.? And, thankfully, it's working. Until an angelic stalker shows up in a bid to steal her powers and take over the world. Forget watching reruns.? With the way things are going, Faith will need the luck of the Devil just to survive until Monday.
Luck of the Devil was a very fun book.  Faith, the devil's youngest daughter is caught up in family drama galore.  Her brother has turned her roommate into a succubus, her sister and brother-in-law show up to "visit" uninvited, and they are followed closely by mom and dear old dad, Lucifer himself.  There are a lot of things that go wrong in this family and Faith generally tries to stay out of it, but she gets dragged kicking and screaming into this one.

The romance in this one is cute and the characters are addictive.  Then it all hits the fan when someone with powers begins to stalk her and send threatening notes.  The family gears up to find out who is behind it all, and surprisingly, the hottie across the hall is on board to help in any way he can.  More family drama ensues and Faith tries desperately to keep her father from having a meltdown - because the city will be melted down right along with him.

Lots of surprising twists in the story line, and the action just keeps on coming.  Faith has a great sarcastic humor that I love to see in my romantic comedies, and Lucifer is just a complete riot!  I really enjoy when authors take larger than life figures and give a quirky personality to match.  I'll be reading the rest of the series over the next couple weeks.  They sound just as great.

Author Bio:
Patricia Eimer is a small-town girl who was blessed with a large tree in the backyard made for reading in on summer days. Mixed with too much imagination, it made her a bratty child but fated her to become a storyteller. She currently lives in Pittsburgh with her two wonderful kids and a husband that learned the gourmet art of frozen pizzas to give her more time to write. When she’s not writing she can be found fencing and arguing about with her dogs about who’s in charge.
