I’ve had one successful mission that I managed to complete by the skin of my… well, let’s just say that I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Raphael’s help. He’s become a huge part of my life now and after learning even more about myself and what my role is in our relationship, let’s just say that I think I’m adjusting rather well, considering the circumstances. On top of my personal issues—and I have plenty—the Society has tasked me with another mission. No rest for the wicked, and I do find that I’m enjoying my wickedness even more now that I’m a demon. Nonetheless, I’ve been assigned to a case where a demon is killing and feeding on a bunch of innocent people who seemed to just be a little down on their luck in the love department. Nearing "retirement age" at thirty-three and still unsure what life after porn holds for her, she's looking forward to finishing one last film and heading off to Europe for an extended, soul-searching holiday.

When Jemma's beautiful new costar shows up on the set, things heat up fast. But when Heidi makes it clear she's not available offscreen without a commitment, Jemma is forced to decide what's more important: the first taste of freedom she's had in 15 years or a chance at love.

The Manny by Susan Ward

My name is Graham. I’d spent most of my life in the military in the Special Forces until that career-ending bullet in I took in Kandahar. Now I serve as personal security for the most famous rock star on the planet. My life worked for me. I didn’t need more and I sure as hell didn’t need to have the heterosexual fantasy.

I was living life full-throttle in every man’s dream—in the center of a sexual orgy that spanned the globe, without limits or judgment. Why would any man want to change that? Not me.
Until I saw him. And then it all changed. I knew he was the one for me. The one the term all was invented for.

Lorenzo Di Carlo is America’s number one heartthrob. He’s pitted against Hollywood’s most beautiful leading ladies, but often seen socializing with an array of handsome men. Speculation about his sexuality keeps his name at the top of every headline, so his manager and press agent won’t let him confirm or deny the rumors. When his new stylist walks in and knocks him off his feet, he has to decide what’s more important – his career or his heart.

In Legal Wolf's Mate, taking on a pro bono murder case isn't a problem for a lawyer who enjoys a challenge. Discovering his new client is his mate? A tad more complicated. Gavin has no intention of settling down, especially not with a woman accused of murder, but once he sets eyes on Megan, his fate is sealed.

In The Alpha's Woman, Kira Radney is all delicious curves and strong will and has no desire to be a subservient mate. When a member of her father's pack attempts to make her his mate by force, Kira has no choice but to flee. The last thing she wants is to submit to any male and their pack. But when her escape attempt leads her straight into the arms of an alpha wolf—a sexy, dangerous, protective alpha—Kira must fight against her need to be free, and her secret desire to be controlled...

In Feral Passions, what better place for an adventurous woman to explore her wild side than a luxurious resort in northern California's beautiful Trinity Alps? Especially when that resort is run by sexy werewolves looking for mates—Feral Passions Resort, where fantasies come true.
Legal Wolf by Eve Langlais was fun and light-hearted in way that only Eve can be when we have a woman being framed for murder and someone trying to kill her. Gavin and Megan are quite an interesting couple. A lawyer and a secretary framed for murder aren't what I would normally expect in a werewolf romance. But together they are a riot and are quite a cute couple. The dialog between them is fun and humorous. But, there are quire a few surprises in store. Megan throws a doozy at you and it makes me love her even more! The cherry on top was Broderick - a mouthy cat that gives us a chance to see Gavin in all his alpha goodness.

Feral Passions is quite the exclusive resort. Will someone please buy me a week's stay there?!?! Cherry is a lucky woman - taken to Feral Passions by her sister and her sister's friend. Where they get to enjoy a week vacation being waiting on by super-hot guys (that may or may not be werewolves) in a remote forest preserve. Heaven! I really love how Cherry changed throughout the story. The wolves are there for her to help boost her confidence and give her a new outlook on her life. Warning - this is the highest sexual rating in the anthology including menage - but it was soooo much fun. I felt like I was part of Cherry's world and now I really want to go back and visit again. Bonus: there's a side romance that runs through the background that is really great, too!

The Alpha's Woman was almost non-stop action and excitement. There's a strong tie to Greek mythology in this one that I really enjoyed. Being able to learn the history of the race of Lycans was just an amazing touch that really brought the story to life. Kira is on the run from her past and to her destiny, but she just doesn't know it. Blaeze was so very interesting. I loved hearing him talk about the history of his family. Blaeze and Kira are both something very special and unique - but I'll let you find out what exactly. Both are alpha's and watching them square off against each other was really great and led to some fantastic dialog and scenes.

Growl is an amazing mix of stories - all featuring really fun werewolf men. Each book is a very different tale that was exciting and sexy and so much fun to read.

Blaze for Me – Natalie Anderson

When Austin Tate busts Nicoletta Valeri in a blistering moment of voyeuristic orgasm-envy, it’s the perfect chance for some payback, but instead she’s lit a fire than can be extinguished by only one thing…

Glutton For Punishment – Amy Andrews

With a sudden hankering to be spanked, Darcy Henderson figures Mitch Callaghan is the man for the job. But is she woman enough to take it?

Burned by Lust – Michele de Winton

Biker, Hade Corban is set to take over the Raising Hellfire Gang and love isn’t on his agenda, but lusty goodtime girl Lee Delevinge is hell bent on burning up his heart.

Sleeping with the Enemy - Robin Covington

All’s fair in love and baseball…but when Kat Carter, the newly-minted GM for the Virginia Venom, is determined to recruit rival superstar shortstop (and former lover) Derek Foxx the last thing she expects is a sexy ultimatum…

Princess Sin – Avery Flynn

There’s trouble on the horizon when Cynthia Aston, who the tabloids have nicknamed Princess Cyn for her slacker party girl ways, stows away on a yacht that belongs to workaholic billionaire Hunter McKenney, her older brother’s sexy best friend.

Accidentally Sinful – Carmen Falcone

Stranded due to a snowstorm, Santiago Cruz must let go of his pride and acknowledge forbidden feelings for the woman he loves but can’t forgive—his stepsister.

How to Seduce A CEO – Talia Hunter

Hot shot CEO Marcus Bolton’s decided who to hire for the top job, and it’s not Angel Moore, no matter how temping she might be. But Angel will do whatever it takes to land the job of her dreams—even seduce the boss.
Lots of variety here with some really great ones, and ones that just didn't do it for me.

Blaze for Me: This was really cute. When Nicoletta is busted spying on a couple having sex by her longtime crush, neither one of them is really sure what to do. There's a lot of heat here and I really enjoyed the word play between Nicoletta and Austin.

Glutton for Punishment: This was a borderline for me. I like that it was a different take on the BDSM appeal and it seemed very real to me.

Burned by Lust: I couldn't do this one. The Hade picks Lee up out of a fellow bikers bed and that just didn't sit right. Totally a personal preference.

Sleeping with the Enemy: Outside of some of the baseball trade and agreement lingo - I loved this. I loved Kat and Derek's past and how everything just seemed all tied up so nicely together. Now, there wasn't too much baseball business lingo, but I'm totally clueless so I may have missed a few of the underlying bits and pieces in this one.

Princess Sin: This was one of my favorites. Cynthia appears to be a lazy do-nothing rich girl, but it isn't what you think. When Hunter realizes what lies beneath the exterior, his long time passion for her really comes out. I loved the two of them together.

Accidentally Sinful: I just can't do the step-sibling thing - sorry. I know a lot of people love it, but it isn't for me. Carmen Falcone is an amazing writer though, so I'm sure this one was great!

How to Seduce a CEO: Talia Hunter really had me cracking up with this one. Another favorite from the bunch, I loved Angel's go to attitude for business and pleasure. She attacks life with such gusto that I just couldn't help but cheer for her every step of the way.

Secret wishes, sweet surprises, and gifts straight from the heart. Delight in this season's most joyous presents with these four sparkling tales...

Making Spirits Bright by Fern Michaels
Melanie McLaughlin desperately wants to adopt two orphaned siblings and give them a real home for Christmas. A just-for-the-holiday marriage to Bryce Landry fits her plan perfectly...until unexpected sparks have Melanie dreaming of forever by his side...

Runaway Christmas by Elizabeth Bass
A glass of wine, lounging in pajamas, ans catching up on movies - that's Heidi Bogue's idea of a perfect Christmas. Until her thirteen-year-old niece makes a surprise visit - and a snowstorm turns Heidi's cafe into a community refuge. Now one handsome cop is giving Heidi plenty more reasons to celebrate...

Home For Christmas by Rosalind Noonan
Jo Truman needs a replacement Santa for her gift shop's Christmas Eve party. She'll do whatever it takes to convince lonely soldier Sam Norwood that he's perfect for the part...and that the season for love is always...

Christmas on Cape Cod by Nan Rossiter
Maddie Carlson would do anything for her best friend. And helping Asa Coleman babysit a rambunctious puppy Christmas Eve night is her one chance to help the troubled teacher put his past to rest...and give the sweetest gift of all.
Making Spirits Bright:
This was a very cute story, but I wish she had done more research on the cat, it just wasn't very realistic at times. But while the animals were cute, they weren't part of the actual romance. Melanie really steals the show in this one in her quest to adopt a child. Her determination was amazing and was something she wanted with all her heart. Bryce was a great guy. He was fun and all, but a bit too much of "whatever you want I want". There really wasn't a conflict there. I don't need much, but a little would have been nice.

Runaway Christmas:
This was my favorite of the bunch! Heidi's world is really turned upside down this Christmas as everything seems to go wrong! Even the weather has it in for her and her dreams of a quiet, peaceful Christmas by herself are shattered. Her niece was just the right touch, but I'm not entirely sure how necessary she was to the story. It's almost as if she was added just to give another potential complication. There's a couple romances, and both are really sweet.

Home for Christmas:
This one had a back story and a lot going on for a novella. Very well layered, with a great small town versus big corporation running through it as well. Sam is a great hero - with lots of depth and a lot of development as we move along. Jo was a tad too sweet for my taste. Just a little to goodie.

Christmas on Cape Cod:
This one was my least favorite. A very sugary couple with a very sugary Christmas story. It just wasn't my style at all.

Overall, this was a great mix of Christmas tales. Some were better than others, but it was a great addition to my Christmas reading for the year.

An all-new novella set in the Sentinels of New Orleans multiverse.

HEART’S BLOOD by Jeffe Kennedy, a Twelve Kingdoms novella

A dark fairytale retelling of a princess robbed of rank, husband and even her name. Nix is nothing. The Princess Natilde—her former waiting woman—attacked her on the journey to wed Prince Cavan, stripping her of everything and taking her place. With no serving skills, Nix becomes a goose girl. Perhaps if Nix keeps her promise never to reveal who she really is, Natilde won’t carry out her vile threats. Prince Cavan entered his arranged marriage determined to have a congenial, if not loving relationship with his future queen—for the sake of both their kingdoms. But, his wife repels him more each day and he finds himself absurdly drawn to the lovely Nix.

THE DJINN IN THE MIRROR by Mina Khan, a Djinn World novella

A paranormal Cinderella story with a young witch as the heroine and a wicked, sexy djinn instead of a fairy godmother.

Dahlia, the step-daughter of a power hungry wizard, promises to free a djinn trapped in a mirror if he rescues her from impending death. But Ashmael the djinn has his own agenda: to trick & seduce his way to freedom. The only problem is he ends up falling for Dahlia. Can he win his freedom and save the girl?
This was a really great mix of stories. There is a little bit of everything here, and it all has a bit of a dark twist to it. While not all are technically romances (it doesn't claim that either) they all have an element of a love story and a few do have the HEA we all love.

Marion, Missing:
Old school noir detective story - but with a ghost. This was a good old fashioned PI that was determined to find his bad guy. Did it help that he was just a little in love with the ghost that asked him to take the case? Maybe. A really great story with very subtle paranormal elements. Even non-paranormal readers will really get into this one.

Femme Fatale:
This one was a lot of fun. A vampiress hires a PI to protect her and find out who is giving vampires a bad name by leaving bodies all over the place. This one gets a little complicated as two of the main characters have different stories to tell. You will be left guessing up until the very end to try and figure out who is really the bad guy in this one. Lots of action and intrigue.

Dance With the Devil:
What does selling your soul to the devil really mean? There's a definite twist on the tale in Dance With the Devil that I absolutely loved!!! Kathleen has been doing the devil's bidding for years - afraid that she will lose everything she has if she stops. But things aren't always what we think and be prepared for quite a surprise ending on this one.

The Consort:
While I loved the world concept in this one, the story fell a little short compared to the rest. There were a lot of dynamics that I don't think I was able to pick up on in the short novella form that I would have liked to be there. The story is definitely romantic, with Faulk willing to put his life and people on the line to save Liandra from becoming, well, basically a sex slave to a seriously creepy guy.

Heart's Blood:
This is definitely the darkest of the stories, but it was also one of my favorites. Not only does it deal in love and romance, but it tackles the concept of individual identity and what it really means to honor a vow. I loved every word - even the ones that had me sitting there with my mouth hanging open in shock at how horrible the pretend Princess is. Nix may seem like a wilting flower at first, but she is one of the most powerful female characters I've read - and she gets there in just a short novella!!! I may be buying this entire series very very soon.

The Djinn in the Mirror:
Djinns - you gotta love the tricky creatures. It helps that they seem to fall in love with human women just when she needs them the most. This was the sweetest of the stories, but still had some definite dark moments (the cellar near the ends still makes me shudder). A really great twist on Cinderella. At times I didn't realize I was in the modern world, the characters were kept so away from everything that they almost existed in a time unto themselves. I loved our little glimpse into the Djinn world and a taste of all the intrigue and politics there as well.

They say love conquers all, but whoever "they" are, must not have heard of Murphy's Law -- whatever can go wrong, will go wrong.

These five tales of sweet, accidental romance prove Cupid's arrows are a lot tougher than they seem, and sometimes it pays to be unlucky.

No Wrong Turns - Lisa A. Adams
Falling for You - Michelle Ziegler
Coffee and Cufflinks - Annabelle Blume
A Slippery Slope - Rebecca Hart
The Shamrock Incident - London Saint James
This was a very cute collection of sweet romances.  They all revolve around the theme of happy accidents - or at least accidents that eventually lead to happiness.  While the collection was fun to read, there were two that really stood out as favorites.  A Slippery Slope and The Shamrock Incident finished the set off very nicely and I think I will be going back to re-read them again sometime.

The Earl's Christmas Colt by Rebecca Thomas

Oliver Westwyck, the Earl of Marsdale, canother better. But she claims noblemen are egotistical, conceited, and arrogant and he wonders how hely hope a colt as her Christmas gift willearn him her forgiveness.

Christmas Past by Susanna Fraser
Time-traveling PhD student Sydney Dahlquists first mission sounded simple enoughspend two weeks in December 1810 collecting blood samples from the sick and wounded of Wellingtons army, then go home to modern-day Seattle and Christmas with her family. But when her time machine breaks, stranding her in the past, she must decide whether to sacrifice herself to protect the timeline or to build a new lifeand embrace a new lovetwo centuries before her time.Rifle captain Miles Griffin has been fascinated by the tall, beautiful Mrs. Sydney from the day he met her caring for wounded soldiers. When he stumbles upon her time travel secret on Christmas Eve, he vows to do whatever it takes to seduce her into making her home in his presentby his side.
The Countess's Groom:
Rose and Will come from two different worlds.  Rose is a lady and Will is a lowly groom, but they unite in their love of animals and in their efforts to save Rose from her incredibly abusive husband.  Unfortunately, I didn't end up liking Rose as much as I should have.  She was overly formal, even after her and Will became close.  It had a very swet ending though.

The Blacksmith's Son:
This was a great one.  Ally has been hiding out as a boy in order to escape from the false accusations of theft from her former employer.  When Captain Quentin Drake finds out that she is actually a girl, he decides to find out why she is hiding.  Their dialog and interactions were great.  The only bad spot was a little of the beginning where things worked out a little too perfectly.

The Earl's Christmas Colt:
This was such a cute story.  I loved the emotion Rebecca Thomas was able to explore in such a small novella.  Lady Arabella isn't your typical noblewoman, she would rather be out riding her horse than try to find a husband.  It's a good thing that Oliver Westwyck, her betrothed, ends up being just as much a horse lover.  They meet for the first time and they don't know who the other is at first.  Arabella mistakes him for a horse breeder.

I'm not a big fan of intential mistaken identity storylines, but the way this one plays out is quite humorous.  It was a great Christmas story.

Christmas Past:
Christmas Past is a sweet time travel romance.  When Sydney finds herself stuck in 1810 after her time machine breaks, she must make a tough decision on what to do next.  Unfortunately (or maybe on the bright side) Miles has found her secret.  He takes her under his wing and talks her into waiting until after Christmas to make a final decision on her fate.

Of course the romance follows very quickly and it is a very sweet one.  A very feel good style of romance with one really good explosion (literally).  I also liked how the author handled the issues of multiple time lines and changing the future.  She had a lot figured out for such a short novella.
