*Fans self* True erotica! And I loved every minute of it. What I most liked was the emotional state of the heroine. The mystery villain isn’t bad either he’s a true whacko. It took me well past the middle of the book to even find out who he really was.


There is a reason Serena has no stings attached sex and its not a happy one. I am surprised she even lets a man touch her after what happened. This was very emotional at times to read, then there were times when Serena was with Kevin that I wanted to say just let him help. Needless to say it takes her a long time to let go of her past and embrace her future with Kevin .

I loved Kevin, but again who wouldn’t, he is sexy and drives a Ferrari. Kevin can be overbearing at times, but he wants to be part of Serena’s life and you know men are, they go about it the wrong way and make demands he shouldn’t, Kevin finds out quick enough demands will get him no were with Serena.

Sex between Kevin and Serena is very hot. There is use of a pearl necklace, yep never read that one before, some of you may have (but not me.) So as I was reading I thought he is going to put that necklace where? OMG NO! But he did;)……

The cover alone caught my attention but don't let it fool you into thinking it is an erotica. The cover is very hot but the romance was sweet enough for just being a tease. Just when you think the writer is going to give good details, she slips into a new and different scene. The story line/plot is pretty good and I did enjoy the story.

A dictatorship takes place after a diseased fruit kills off an entire race of humans and only a few survive. The dictator goes over board and says he will help his people but in all reality he has turned them into slaves and treats women like they are infidels and that they are only good for two things, cleaning and baring children, that they are only for men’s pleasure and they are not allowed to experience pleasure or even look upon any man.

One dictator believes that only his seed can recreate a worthy race. Well that only last for a little while, for Roth, a rebel who refuses to live by this dictators laws fights back with the help from Claudia, a warrior female from another part of the world.

Remy intercepts Cynthia before she can reach her destination, with the intention of seducing her and keeping her busy and out of the way for a few days. Although Crawdaddy’s serves up the best gumbo, what Cynthia doesn’t know is that it also serves up any kind of sex imaginable. With that in mind, Remy implies that Cynthia is a “working” girl on her way to Crawdaddy’s, and his seduction begins in earnest. Cynthia decides to play along with his charade. After all, she had a lack-luster marriage and no one around here knows her. Why not?

I wish this could have been a full length novel, but at 40 pages or so, it wasn’t able to reach half of its potential. Remy and Cynthia are very likeable characters. Unfortunately, their dialog and the writing could be callous and boorish:

But by the end of the night, she’d be the one on her knees, sucking on him like a lollipop.

Basically, she narrowed him down to meat.

Don’t get me wrong, the sex is hot and heavy with a dose of anal and a toy thrown in for good measure.

Some things I just couldn’t get past. You have a grown, professional (attorney) woman getting in a boat with a stranger in the backwood bayous of Louisiana. (I had visions of Deliverance dancing in my head.) Remy and Cynthia are complete strangers who fall madly in love after two days of hot monkey sex. Remy uses, well at least partially, alcohol to seduce Cynthia.

On the bright side, I did learn what Sazerac is!

This is one book I send right back to the publisher! I have the 2009 addtion and have never used it, so when this one came in I seen it would be the same, I called and canceled my auto shipping and sent this one right back. As I looked through it I only found two recipes I would even like to try and the selection for each holiday seemed slim just like the 2009. I alos find the picutres very slim for my taste. I just didnt want another book collecting dust.

Short and Sweet!

An incubus demon named Kenan buys a caged angel “Jahel” in Hell’s Gate from a merchant in hopes of adding a priceless angel's soul to his collection. Getting other women’s souls by using his incubus nature has never been a problem in the past but his own desires is met head on with the angel whose desire is just as strong as his. In trying to seduce her he finds himself falling in love with her instead and willing to help her and protect her no matter the risks.

Kenan is so smitten with Jahel that he vows to help her find the lost soul that was taken by a hellhound. With the use of scenes from the Snow White fairy tale and some of the biblical prophecy along with the scare of an apocalypse ending, the adventure to find this lost stolen soul will draw you in quickly.

The romance/erotica was mildly-hot but enjoyable for a short quick read. The ending was very touching and left me smiling in awe at the happy ending.

This is my favorite book so far in this series. Alyssa Day’s Warriors are hot and they charm their way right into your heart. This series is quickly becoming my favorite series, you don’t get a huge lot of new characters in each book and at least the villains are not always the same. Alyssa keeps things fresh and full of action. If you haven’t tried this series yet, please do, the first books are slim on the heat, but they get better as you keep going. Each book also brings you deeper into these Warriors of Poseidon agendas and what they are about. You get action, hot sex, humor and some sadness, Christophe childhood wasn’t always kind. I also found this book hotter than the others, so hold on to your fan you may need it.

I loved both Christophe and Lady Fiona their romance grows as they both partner up to steal the Siren the problem is they hit a lot of bumps on the way. I loved the butler Hopkins he is a laugh and he knows how to fight and use a gun;)

My favorite sex scene between these two was in the museum;)

My favorite passage is:
Fiona gasped and then fell back into her chair her lungs suddenly unable to fill with air. She began relaxation breathing of long, slow inhales and exhales. “You know, I think that this was perhaps and inch or two beyond what my rational mind can take right now. I read to page 120 and stopped. My brain just couldn’t grab a hold of this one. To much going back in fourth between times, I just couldn’t keep up. Then I had a problem with the F/F kissing plus touching, just to much for me. There is more I didnt care for, but I dont feel getting into the rest, so I'm stopping here. Maybe someone else can get into this story, not me.

EXCELLENT !!!! The Best M/M EROTICA Read I have ever read - It was HOT!!!!!

Not only was the sex hot but the vampire/were-wolf story was excellent and I can't wait to read the next books in this series. I loved all the characters, so dam sexy and full of passion. The sex scenes were so hot that I couldn't help but go attack my husband several times with in a 24 hour period (laughing out loud).

Lucien and Peter are awesome and have the perfect connection. The sex scenes are dirty and raw, but at the same time, sweet and tender and very loving. The bedroom talk was so sexy and sweetly touching and at times even funny to the point I found myself laughing out loud.

I love this quote from Peter; it’s so romantic and shows how much love there is between them.

I look forward to reading the next book in the series “Deceptions”.

GREAT M/M Vampire Series, STEAMING HOT EROTICA!!!!

I couldn’t put this very well written fast paced and action packed read down. Jourdan Lane absolutely WOW’s me with this paranormal world she has created with this series. Between all the blood and sex, Xander, Nicholas, Caleb, Simon and two new characters Nicholas and Sabann web a bond that is full of intense emotions that run rampant between each other and the coven.

All the characters are well developed and I found myself loving how they interacted with each other and respecting their loyalty whether they were vampires, were-wolves, or demons. The sex scenes were so steaming hot I had to literally go take a cold shower to calm my sexual arousal until my husband got home (laughing out loud).

This book was so good I bought the third book “Sacrifice” before I even finished. The story captured my heart immediately and I absolutely love it. Go ahead and pick it up, I promise you won’t be disappointed, just maybe a little enthralled with excitement.

OMG, I totally loved it and want more. Ok, I am calming down now so I can do the review (laughing out loud).

First let me tell you that this Fallen Angel is pure sex on two legs and more. Even though he was kicked out of heaven for hating humans his stubbornness soon changes when he is almost ran over with a car by Nadira and she turns his world upside down.

Nadira is a little different from most for she does believe in Angels and has in fact had previous visions of Angels in her past. Nadira is very compassionate and cannot leave Gadriel in the street so she takes him home to doctor him up. Only thing is, not only does he get doctored up, she gets a little love and tenderness back tenfold.

I wish love like this could happen in real life with an angel. I loved how dedicated and possessive they are towards each other. Their nights of passion bring about a new joy to this fallen angel when they learn of her pregnancy. However in order for him to keep them safe, he has to make a deal with god. You must read this wonderful story and see how Gadriel's life and feelings towards humans has changed. Now I have to read the second book in the series “Dark Admirer” to find out what happens. Great Read and the author is a great writer, I am definitely a fan now.

EXCELENT READ! ENTERTAINING! FUNNY!
This series was brilliantly written. The Fantasy, the romance, the paranormal, it has it all and it is astounding. Another fast turning page read that you can’t put down.

In the first book The Battle Sylph, Leon and his battle sylph Ril were a major part of the story. We know that both are great warriors and assets to the queen and are very loyal.

In this story, six years later after the Sylph Valley is created, Leons daughter "Lizzy" who is now 18 and is dying to get out of the whelms of her parents rule and find her true love. Lizzy has one boy "Justin" who has an interest in her, a boy whom she once pecked kissed when she was 16 and of course a man she was interested in "Ril" who majorly kissed her that same night when she was 16. Lizzy just wanted to get away and figure things out and decide what she wanted in life.

Little did Lizzy know how her life would change? Lizzy and two other female friends take off to a city beyond the mountains to explore unguided that is until Justin shows up. Her friend Loren (tramp in heat) started flirting with some pirates on a doc and next thing they know all chaos breaks out and they end up kidnapping Lizzy. Justin doesn't even try to save her, he runs off instead like a cowed down dog with his tail tucked between his legs.

Mean while, Leon and Ril are on their own mission in another city stopping them from bringing other sylphs over or interfering before the intended master tries to kill the female sacrifice. Of course as it goes, Leon and Ril end up killing the entire priest and rescuing the girl and the new sylph. Little did they know they were heading into another adventure to rescue Lizzy when they got home?

Leon, Ril, and Justin end up on a journey of a life time to rescue Lizzy, the story is amazing. All the characters are amazing but my favorite is Leon. He is such a hero and an honorable man that keeps his promises. It is going to be interesting to see where the 3rd book takes off.

I have had this casserole book for a while and love it. As you can see from a picture below all the tabs I have on it. There is everything in here beef, poultry, pork, seafood, meatless, breakfast and brunch, side dishes, quick and easy, serves two, and potluck pleasures. There is a picture for just about every recipe and easy to read and follow, some are easy and some are harder so if you have the time or not there is something for everyone. 

Sample recipe. My whole family  loved this recipe even my picky no veggie teen. This recipe is by Gloria Warczak.

2 pounds lean ground beef 

3/4 cup chopped onion 

1 envelope taco seasoning 

1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

3/4 cup water 

1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained 

1 can (16 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained 

1 package (24 ounces) frozen O'Brien potatoes, thawed 

1 can (11 ounces) nacho cheese soup, undiluted 

1/2 cup milk 

1/4 cup chopped green pepper 

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 

1/4 teaspoon sugar 

Paprika

In a large skillet, cook beef and 1/2 cup onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the taco seasoning, tomato sauce and water. Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute. 

Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Top with the green chilies, beans and potatoes. In large bowl, combine the soup, milk, green pepper, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and remaining onions; pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika. 

Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Yield: 8 servings.

I have enjoyed cooking from this  Christmas cookbook. I love all the pictures it gives you and the easy to read recipes. I can see myself using this all year around. There is everything from appetizers and beverages to Divine desserts. I would recommend this for anyone that loves from simple and harder recipes. Plus this would look nice as a Christmas present for your favorite baker or cook in the family. Here is a sample.

Winter fruit salad

2 cups cubed unpeeled red apples
2 cups cubed unpeeled pears
¾ cup chopped dates
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 medium bananas, sliced
1/3 cup light mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tablespoons honey
½ teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/8 teaspoon allspice

1: In large bowl, combine the apples. Pears, dates and lemon juice; mix well. Add the bananas; stir gently to mix.

2:In small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients; blend well. Add to salad; stir gently to coat. If desired, serve in lettuce-lined bowl.

Fantastic writing, I couldn't put the book down. Even though the book is a short read it was full of lots of erotica action that will surely satisfy your minds sexual hunger.

Sydney is just an ordinary woman who has had her share of bad picks for relationships that always turn out bad. So she makes her mind up to become like most men and turn her heart off and gain the attitude of love em and leave em with no strings attached.

Sydney's strategy gets thrown out the window when she meets Raimond (Black Panther) and he spices things up. She gets more than she bargain for. I loved the ending where Raimond is Sydney's hero and becomes her eternal soul mate.
