For once, mated werewolves Charles and Anna are not traveling because of Charles’s role as his father’s enforcer. This time, their trip to Arizona is purely personal, as Charles plans to buy Anna a horse for her birthday. Or at least it starts out that way...

Charles and Anna soon discover that a dangerous Fae being is on the loose, replacing human children with simulacrums. The Fae’s cold war with humanity is about to heat up—and Charles and Anna are in the cross fire.

I have followed Charles and Anna from the beginning. The couple just needed a break. But if they got a break, we wouldn't have an action packed story to read now would we?

This Alpha and Omega did take me some time to get into. Once I was able to fall into the story I was happy to see that the couple hadn't changed but evolved. I love seeing the couple connect on a higher level. The story had a few new twists as well. There was a lot of action and it was fast paced. I had to re-read several times to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Is it possible to reduce the amount of workplace violence in an organization run by vampires and werewolves? Sofia Engle, the new Employee Relations Manager at Cader House Hospital is about to find out, and she may not like the answer, or the series of firsts she experiences: first human employee at Cader House, first day tardy, first kiss with a dead guy. Well, maybe kissing the dead guy wasn't the worst of it after all.

For nearly 600 years Dragomir Petrescu has fought for The Alliance. As one of the most skilled warriors the Alliance has ever seen he's killed a lot of people and won many difficult battles. But his newest human adversary is turning out to be a worthier opponent than any he's met. Just the scent of her disarms him, never mind her endless policies and silly ideals about civility.

Can he possibly keep her safe from Alliance enemies, hospital employees and himself? The term Employee Relations is about to have a whole new meaning.

This is definitely an exciting new series from Jordan K Rose!
First let me start by saying I love this cover, and the model is PERFECT for Dragomir, lol. I really enjoyed this book, as always you know I love me some action on the streets  and the in sheets, lol. Dragomir and Sofia start off a little rough.  Being in the supernatural world is pretty new to Sofia, so when she meets Dragomir and is hit with some unexpected feelings towards him, she reacts the only way she knows how, by turning her feelings around to try to dislike him. Though as we all know, that never works, lol but it always makes for a better "session" when it finally happens. ;)
Sofia is the newly appointed Human Relations Manager at Cader House Hospital, though that position is a little difficult for her to handle, lol.  Dragomir is hired to be Sofia's bodyguard. since the impending war is getting closer and the human casualties are piling up, but that doesn't really make her happy since he is the  least likely person she wanted to guard her. She soon finds out that he is the best person for the job, not only outside of Cader but inside too.
I loved Dragomir, not only for his Alpha role but he is  very honorable and loyal too. Sofia on the other hand sort of gets on my nerves a bit.  Female characters who always have to go through the drama before they finally realize that what other people are doing and saying are not only correct but  for their own benefit, usually annoy me, though it still made for an interesting and entertaining read, lol. Sofia eventually finds her balance in the supernatural world and at Cader House Hospital with her sexy bodyguard. ;)

Black Magic Rose was such a great read, I'm definitely looking forward to reading this series.

Review: Blackwood Lily (Blackwood Wolves #1) by: R.L. Kirk

Title: Blackwood Lily (Blackwood Wolves #1)
Author: R.L. Kirk
Source: Review Request
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Length: 328 pages Paperback

Amidst a war of attrition and a struggle for power Lily Blackwood is torn between two strong men... One, Wallace is her perfect idea of a partner, loving, loyal and handsome. The second, Bryn, is her true mate, the man chosen for her by nature and her family. Denial and naivety for nature’s choice, sends her into a rage of independence against the laws of her own destiny, family and her own father.

Wallace Kirk is assigned to protect the beautiful Lily since her birth... His loyalties are tearing him apart. His own mate, dead, taken from him, fills his thoughts as Lily begs for his attention. She needs him, but not as much as the wolf that prowls in her flesh.

Bryn Kemp's nature and need fill his flesh... Yet his true mate, the woman chosen for him, denies her destiny. His battle for her and his own pride must overcome her feisty rebellious streak.

Both men must fight for her in the throes of oncoming battle and she must make the right choice. A decision that will shape the war.

First, I loved the cover! Love the color and the wolf in the background is great, like danger lurking in the shadows. Though I guess that is the point since there is definitely danger lurking in the shadows for Lily Blackwood. This is the first book in the Blackwood Wolves series and it was awesome! It was an excellent start to the series, it give us enough background about the Blackwood wolves pack and some of the mysticism the comes along with the Blackwood name. And also their very long feud with their nemesis, a vampire who loves wolf blood, and there is nothing better to him than Blackwood blood.
Lily has tried to escape the reality of her future as Alpha. She moves to the city, goes to school, gets her degree and now works at an art gallery. But destiny can only be put on hold for so long and when she starts to realize that she needs to take her rightful place in the pack and is bombarded with information and is on info overload, she finds that she and her sister may also be the target of their greatest enemy. Wallace is Lily's best friend, he protects her and helps her in her times of need, but unfortunately he is not her true mate. Bryn, who is switching places with Wallace for protective duty, may just be the candidate that Lily is looking for. But will they find out before danger strikes?

If I had to choose who it would be, I'd say Wallace, he just did something for me in this story. Totally Alpha hot, lol. I thought this was a great introduction to the series, and an amazing read full of action and shifter hotness. I'm totally looking forward to the next installment.

Julia Taylor works as a recruitment consultant for Paranormal Personnel in London. Her normal day at the office consists of seeing clients, searching for new vacancies, updating CVs and visiting employers.

It seems as though she has an ordinary life but in reality Julia is half elf and she works for a recruitment agency for paranormals. Day to day Julia attempts to find work for fairies, vampires, witches, hags, wizards, mermaids, elves, giants and trolls.

She is normally calm, confident and is not afraid to stand up for herself, but when the meeting with La Caz Corporation doesn't go as well as she hoped, she wants to bury herself under the ground and die.

Nathaniel La Caz is a player and he wants to seduce Julia. The incredible sexual chemistry that builds up between them complicates her life to the point where she can’t control her magic. La Caz not only wants her but he also has a craving for her blood. Then her ex-boyfriend Jasper comes back on the scene and nearly exposes the whole paranormal world to humans when trying to protect her.

It doesn't end well when vampires and elves mix. The problems start escalating when elves and fairies begin to vanish in London without trace and the police suspect vampires. This can never end well for Julia but she just gets on with her extraordinary job and keeps her abilities under the radar.

I really enjoyed £6.19 per Witching Hour. I thought it was a fun read and at the same time a bit of a thriller. Julia works for a recruitment agency, aligning supernaturals with jobs in their community, and is working on a contract with one of the largest factories. While at the first meeting with LA Caz Corporation she is absolutely flooded with emotions when she meets Nathaniel La Caz, a sexy vampire who she is determined to stay away from since he only wants two things,  sex and to eat her up, lol. While trying to immerse herself in work and distract herself from the ever growing attraction to Nathaniel she is also dealing with a crazy stalker ex boyfriend, and then there is also the dire situation of elves and fairies going missing. Unfortunately Julia finds herself in the middle of it all.
Nathaniel is a sexy character, he's Alpha but some of his tendencies lean more toward controlling. Julia on the other hand is totally independent and buts heads with him quite often. I thoroughly enjoyed the story but was a little disappointed how it ended, but then on the other hand, it makes want to read the next one even more. I have to see what happens between Nathaniel & Julia and also what dangers are still lurking.
I would definitely recommend this series, and I;m looking forward to what happens next.
Hopefully Julia doesn't take it to easy on Nathaniel, lol.

Review: Winter Eve #.5 & A Tiger's Claim #1 in the Ashwood Falls Series By: Lia Davis

Title: Winter Eve (Ashwood Falls #.5)
Author: Lia Davis

Genre: Paranormal Romance

There comes a time when setting your differences aside isn't just necessary, it’s a means of survival. After losing over half of their dens to a group rogue shifters, the wolves and leopards merged as one Pack, but living together is much more of a challenge then they expected.

Danica Welsh was born to be the leopard pack healer. An accident involving a drug induced youth left her badly burned and scared—emotionally and physically. Without the ability to heal by touch, she secludes herself to the edge of town, away from Ashwood Falls’ overly concerned citizens. All hope of mating and family become a distant dream. When she finally starts to accepts the long, lonely existence ahead of her, a stranger crashes into her life, and her heart.

After Nevan Mathews’ fiancé died three ago, he submerged himself into his work, cutting off all reminders of a life he dreamed of with the woman he loved. He lets his step-mother talk him into taking the first vacation in five years to visit for the holidays. But an accident delays his travel plans, sending him to Danica’s doorstep and raises a need he thought he would never feel again.
Can they tear down the walls around their hearts and submit to the passion before another claims Dani for his own?

Warning: Contains a shifter who's scars run deeper than skin, a human who has the heart of a shifter, and a snow storm that's sure to have them both reaching for warmth.

Winter Eve is a great introduction to the series. It gives us a bit of background about the pack and also a love story between a leopard shifter and a human. Dani lives on the outskirts of where the pack resides in Ashwood Falls. She was tired of all of the pity she received from everyone because of her scars, so she moved to live in peace and quiet. Though she was still close enough o the pack. While she is out for a run, she runs in front of car and causes the driver veer off road and crash. Luckily he's ok but now the storm is coming and he needs a place to stay.
Nevan is on his way to visit his family but when he crashes his car,  his original plans are put on hold. But it turns out he's quite ok with that since he can spend some time with the sexy woman who owns the cabin.

Very cool and sexy story!

Title: A Tiger's Claim (Ashwood Falls #1)
Author: Lia Davis

As the Alpha’s only daughter Shayna Andrews has always been treated like a rare gem, protected like royalty, and she’s suffocating. Her longing to be independent has driven her to sneak out one evening after dinner. After relishing in being able to run free without an escort, she finds herself face-to-face with the enemy, miles from home, and nearly loses her life until a lone wolf comes to her aid.

Travis Hunter’s main objective is to destroy the Onyx Pack—a group of drug using, murdering rogue shifters. His seek-and-destroy plans are put on hold when he rescues a female from a brutal attack. The beautifully exotic tiger shifter, Shayna, stirs a passion he thought died with his long-lost mate.

When Shay’s first heat cycle slams into her, Travis has no choice but to submit to her needs—and his own. But there is always a price to sleeping with the Pack princess. Not only will he have to face her Pack, Shay and Travis will now have to deal with that fact that their mating is beyond a simple night and could have consequences more than either of them had thought. And when Travis finds out Shay wears the enemy’s brand, things will go from bad to worse.

Warning: One alpha female who doesn't take no for an answer, a wolf with more on the line than just his heart, and a combustible attraction that's sure to cause more than one sweaty night.

Great story! Lots of action, some hot shifter sex, and a little deceit, definitely makes for an enjoyable read!
Shayna runs off to blow off some steam after she argues, once again, with her over protective father. She doesn't realize how far out she is until she feels danger lurking and she has no way of linking with her family. While she is fighting to free herself from the crazy half man/ half wolf mutants, Travis arrives to give a helping hand/ paw, lol.
After the attack she starts to also realize that her family is over protective for good reason. The Onyx pack is looking for her, and she is still in danger every additional second she is away from her pack.
Back at Travis's cabin as they are both healing, her first heat cycle kicks in, and  the sexy wolf who rescued her is more than happy to help her out.
I absolutely love Alphas!! Vampire, Wolf, jaguar, or even bear, it doesn't matter, lol. There is just something so freaking sexy about them. And there are plenty of Alphas in the Ashwood Falls series. I'm so looking forward to reading the next one.

Paige Donovan is an ambitious college graduate who aspires to reach the top of the corporate ladder. She’s climbing fast when given the promotion of a lifetime at a prestigious fashion magazine in New York City. Her bright future comes to an unexpected halt after news of her father’s death. She inherits his old cabin in the Colorado Rockies, and just when she thinks her luck couldn't get any worse, she has a car accident in the mountains and awakens in the small, remote community of Black River.

Soon, she’s engulfed in the mystical world of Varulv---wolves descended from 13th century Scandinavia and blessed by Norse gods with the ability to appear human. Paige is desperate to return home, but never expects to fall for her rescuer, Riley Gray, a charming young werewolf from England who offers her an alternate future with his pack.

Now, she must choose between the career she’s always wanted and the love she’s always dreamed.

I thought this was a pretty good read. I enjoyed the different spin on werewolves, with the addition of Norse Gods and folklore. It was an interesting story about love at first sight and how one truly never forgets their first love. Both Paige and Riley both feel that missing piece their entire lives until they reconnect in Black River. Granted their first encounter was a bit different than most but it just shows that people who are meant to be together will always find a way in each other's path.
When Paige has to return to the family cabin in Black River she quickly finds herself in lust with the hot guy from the grocery store and terrified of the wolf stalking her. She's terrified and ready to leave when a car accident extends her stay in Black River. Her rescuer, Riley, just happens to be the hot guy from the store and the one that will change her life as she knows it. But it seems at every turn there is an obstacle thrown their way, but will love prevail?
Cool werewolf story, but I was a little weirded out by the mention of the possibility of bestiality, but thank heavens that didn't take place, I don't think I could have finished if it did. Other than that, it was a good read and I'll definitely be reading more of April Bostic's work.

Blog Tour Stop and Review: The Demon Mistress By: Jordan K Rose

The Demon Mistress Blog Tour
with Author Jordan K Rose
& The Mistress herself, Eva Prim

I’m absolutely delighted to have the first stop on The Demon Mistress blog tour be Bitten By Paranormal Romance.  Of course, I’d love to be the one to chat, but for this tour I’m stepping back to let the star of The Eva Prim Series take the reigns.
As Eva celebrates the launch of the first book in the Eva Prim Series she’s decided to open her tour with a topic of great importance to her.

Friendship
Thanks, Jordan. I’ll take it from here.
Friendship is not one-sided.
Oh, and I should say, thank you Jordan for your friendship.
Anyway, friendship is not one-sided. And I actually believe even though you may live hundreds or thousands of years you should see your friends more than once a century. You should keep up with each other’s happenings, good and bad.
You should visit.
In the age of computers you could at last Skype.
Vampires, I’m talking to you. You could have friends for eternity. Come out of your caves and visit. Bring a nice box of chocolates and go see your pals. Don’t be such a stiff.
Good friends are so hard to find.
Am I right or am I right?

This is my first blog tour and I just found out there are gifts to be given, well, prizes. Though, today being my birthday I wouldn’t mind a gift in spite of the fact that everyone keeps telling me to knock it off about expecting gifts.
Anyway, today’s prize is an Eva Prim Prize pack, which includes all sorts of stuff I love (because why not?). But that’s just for US residents. If the winner is from outside The States, I’m sending a $10 Amazon Gift Card, which you can use to buy things I love.
Fine, use it to buy things you love, but remember, we are friends and I am giving you a prize. The least you could do is return the favor. It’s just a suggestion.

What’s a girl to do when she discovers her husband, who happens to be the Master Vampire for the New England Region, has been lying to her for, oh, say a hundred and eighty years?

Well, it all depends. If she’s accidentally released forty demons from some creepy old book, unintentionally announced the existence of vampires on The Internet, kidnapped a werewolf, enraged a lovesick vampire by stealing his approved mate, and attracted the attention of The High Commander for The Vampire Federation, not to mention gotten stoned and mastered the forbidden art of demon calling, she might be willing to call it even.

Or, she might plead her case at an Inquisition and hope like all hell, she isn’t staked before sunrise. Eh, a slightly busier night than usual, but nothing Eva Prim can’t handle.

I loved it!! Eva / Chrissie was the funniest female character I've ever read about!! It was like reading a modern day paranormal version of I Love Lucy. It was awesome! Stefan, Eva's sexy Vampire husband, is a little over protective of Eva, so when he is out on business, he leaves her home alone, and locked in. It sounds mean, but he has his reasons, lol. To help with her boredom he buys her a laptop, so she starts a blog, and that is when things get a little crazy. She is also given a gift, a couple of Demon friends, actually some of the ones she let out of the book by mistake. Eva goes on, what she thinks, is a life saving mission of one of her blog friends.  But what she really does is cause havoc in her husband's territory and is the most sought vampire from everyone. lol And the more she tries to help, the deeper she digs her "grave". lol
Demons Mistress was  a great read, it was more like a Paranormal Comedy. Just totally awesome and well deserving of the 5 start rating. I love thrillers, suspenseful, action, and lust filled Paranormal stories, but I also like when someone throws a different spin on things and gives it a fresh look.
I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. :)

If the world you lived in was someday revealed to be nothing but a lie, would you really want the truth? Elizabeth McBeth did, and she's paid the price for it...

After almost 10 years since Liz's mother was taken from her, Liz finally found her mother, Mary. But Mary has been forever changed, something that Liz will have to accept. The beginning of happier times, one would think...

The conspiracy has been exposed; Liz, Vincent, Mary and Michael had all thought that the vampire plot had been destroyed. They should have never underestimated Klein.

Klein has reinforced his armies, splitting the entire vampire species with the question... is Klein the vampiric messiah? Unfortunately for the heroes and the world itself, Klein has set in motion a plan that will destroy the world and recreate it in his own image.

Will the group be able to defeat Klein and restore the balance to nature? Or are they already doomed?

The second book in The Keeper series is just as good as the first one, The Keeper Awakening.
You would definitely have to read the first book in the series though, you would most likely be lost if you read the series out of sync. You can buy The Keeper Awakening here and read my review for it here

So, we pick up a few months later after the ordeal at The Coronam. In this installment Liz is feeling a bit lonely and like the odd man, or should I say woman, out. She starts to get a little whiny but at least she knows she is and it's not her character trait at all.
Michael, and Vincenzo are investigating and trying to gather allies for whatever revenge Klein is planning. Which they all know he is planning something and it is going to be BIG. Mary is at Angel's Retreat with Liz but she's training all of the time, so that leaves Liz all by her lonesome. So she comes up with a plan to gain a little freedom and sanity. And that's when all of the trouble starts. Seriously, this quartet finds themselves in crazy situations quite often, lol. Even though they are always on Klein's tail, it seems they can never gather enough info to be one step ahead of him and stop him. When they finally think they can thwart Klein's plan, they are thrown another obstacle their way. While and in the midst of all of the action, Liz is still trying to figure out who she wants to be with. And then we are left with a crazy a** cliffhanger. Which I will agree with the author's last words on the pages. You have to leave them wanting more. No matter how much I hate cliffhangers, I love them just as much, lol. I like being teased and wanting more, lol, yes I know how that sounds but it's the truth.  In both cases lol.

Another great read! And I cannot wait to see what kind of trouble these guys get into next, lol.

Veronica Armatti, a hairdresser and infatuation addict, has managed to strike the perfect balance between her daily existence and her overpowering desires. Veronica's husband, Joe, tolerates her addiction as long as he doesn't know the details. Veronica decides to get her latest fix with Andrew, an artist she meets at a grocery store. Andrew inducts Veronica into a mysterious and hypnotic dream world, where the powerful Devan entices her into his tribe of shape shifters, and where dreams and reality mingle in a deadly, intricate dance of survival.

I'll start off by saying that I love the cover of this book, it actually flows very well with the storyline. Sometimes I see covers that don't really capture the story, or I feel like the cover doesn't "match" the story per se. But the cover of Dream is perfect! The author created an amazing world, I thought it was a very interesting read and totally cool and a bit twisted but in a beautiful dream like way.  I liked it and disliked it at the same time, actually the only thing I disliked about it was Devan. He was a bit sneaky and I didn't vibe very well with him. But the ending was so awesome, I loved it. At first I thought I was lost, maybe I missed something, but then it all comes to light and I was like YES! So totally awesome, twisted and very cool ending.
Veronica has what she calls an addiction for extra marital affairs, her husband Joe is ok with it, as long as he isn't told about it. But she does it because she feels that she is missing something, she thinks she's finding it with some side nookie. Then she meets Andrew, a dream walker, who takes her into a world that she falls in love with and thinks she's has finally found the missing piece to her soul.  Veronica is fascinated by the dream world, it calls to her, and Andrew isn't so sure they should go back in. But she doesn't care, she goes back in and  that's when things get kind of crazy, but in such a good way.
Awesome read, I highly recommend it!

Anna Greer is a quiet microbiologist with her feet planted firmly in reality. Her life gets turned upside down when she finally meets her elusive employer, Gareth Macgregor. Gareth is mysterious, sexy, powerful…and a vampire.

Soon she's drawn into a world she only thought was mythical, creatures and beings that existed only in nightmares that turn out to be very real.

Anna and Gareth are drawn together in a fight for their lives and Anna finds that there is a part of her that has lain dormant since her childhood, a power that could save them, or mark them for death.

Gareth’s powerful enemy would stop them from finding what Gareth has been trying to find for centuries—a cure for vampirism and a love that transcends time.

I thought Eternity was a great read! If I could have skipped out on some sleep to finish it, I would have.
Anna is a microbiologist trying to find a cure or at least a breakthrough for the disease XP, which is what her mother died from. Coincidentally it is the same disease that her employer suffers from and is secretly working on but for different reasons, he’s a vampire. When Anna meets Gareth she is drawn to him in ways she can’t even believe or explain to herself. While trying to figure out what’s going on with the whole infatuation with Gareth, she finds herself being stalked by someone else too. And as she was working late one evening, her lab is broken into and she is attacked. The sense of being watched and of odd things going on around her and Gareth’s mysteriousness,  bring her back to her childhood when she would “see” things and her mother would chalk it up to an overactive imagination. But now that she is older she’s not quite sure if she can do the blame game anymore, so she does some research. Here is where we are introduced to Teagan & Harley, I love these ladies, they confirm Anna’s suspicion about Gareth and let her know what she truly is and help her grow her powers a bit. Anna is thrown into a world she never thought existed or at least hoped it didn't  and on top of that she’s in the middle of a feud between Vampire and maker. With all of the attacks and Anna’s lack of control for her new found power, Gareth enlists the help of an old friend, Noah. They all work together, though begrudgingly for some of them, to help Anna and beat Gareth’s evil maker.

I loved all of the characters in Eternity, even the enemies. It was a great read and I am definitely looking forward to reading the next one.

Now three vampires, a witch, a werewolf and a human must ride along the edges of the rules. They will attempt once unthinkable romantic entanglements despite all those who oppose their relationships, while fighting for their lives as well.

With the Willows full of violence and bloodshed, meetings and magic amiss, will the clans ever be able to find peace among them again? Or, will this war destroy the Willows?

In Book 1, Amberlyn’s vampire brother, Isaac, always one to kick ass first and deal with the consequences later, kidnaps a witch, Winter. He intends to find out what type of retaliation the witch clan is planning against the vampires and werewolves. In doing so, he finds so much more then he bargained for.

By Book 2, Isaac and Winter devise a plan to try to get the Elders of the clans talking peacefully. But, things don’t go as they’d hoped, and the fighting between the clans becomes more devious – deadly. Now, Devin, another vampire of Drake’s making, steps in to help pick up some of the pieces.

When Book 3 begins, it is Devin who hides the biggest secret; he’s in love with a local human. In a moment of desperation – of love – Devin sweeps this human, Sara, away to his home in order to keep her out of harm’s way.

*Sighs* Forbidden love, is there anything more romantic than that?!
I think this is the most romantic novel I've ever read.
So obviously I have a very weird view of romance since this trilogy is full of action and crazy witches and other supes who love to stir the crazy pot, but the love between the main characters in each story is amazing! True love cannot and should not be stopped because of physical differences between two people. This trilogy hits home in quite a few ways. For people like me who are in interracial relationships and for people of the same sex, we all struggle with this kind of judgment and prejudices. It just made me love the book even more. It has a very interesting plot and is full of action, and the steamy parts are very nice ;).  The first story is with Isaac & Winter and where the plot is introduced.  His sister Amberlyn, who is a vampire, falls in love with a werewolf, we normally see this in other novels, but here in the Willows it is strictly forbidden. The Willows is a resort town where plenty of humans come and go and the ones that live there are kept in the dark of the true identities of the supernturals. And a place where Vampires, Werewolves, and Witches coexist with a truce of sorts, but are strictly forbidden to engage in, and have relationships with each other. Isaac is on his way back to the Willows because he receives word from his Vampire Grandfather that his maker Drake has been murdered. Once there, he plans to get all of the information he needs by any means necessary, and this is how he encounters Winter. While trying to find out what has happened and what the other clans have planned, he starts to develop feelings for her. But because a love between a Vampire and a witch is not only, not allowed it would also bring more trouble to the impending war between the clans, so he tries to ignore his feelings. While trying to figure out how to go about this relationship with each other, violence starts to break out in the Willows. Isaac & Winter along with the help of Amberlyn, Kane and their grandparents, work together to  try to prevent the situation from escalating in front of humans.  But he can no longer deny his love for Winter, so he finally gives into it and tries to figure out a way to work thru this hard time in the Willows. The second installment is the story of Amberlyn and Kane. Here we find out how they started and what happened when they came out into the open. Isaac & Winter try to find a peaceful way to bring the clans together and have a meeting of the leaders and Elders to defuse the situation and compromise on new laws for the clans, so they enlist the attendance of Kane & Amberlyn. But things get out of control once the witches start scheming again. We’re also introduced to Devin in this installment, another vampire sibling of Isaac and Amberlyn. The third installment is about Devin & Sara, he is a vampire but his love interest is actually worse than Amberlyn and Isaac, he’s in love with a human. I have to say that I loved all three of these stories but Devin’s is my favorite. I almost teared up with this one.  They spend a night together and they both feel the same way about each other. It just tore me up to read how much they wanted and loved each other but couldn't be together, that they were saying goodbye even though they didn't want to. The fighting between the clans continues but it seems to be escalating to the point of no return. This group of crazy witches has really done a number on the town, the clans, and even the innocent bystanders. But will the town survive?
I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy, and definitely recommend it!
