Vegas pack enforcer, Tomás Rivera, will do anything to help the mysterious Citlani find her mother. As the daughter of an unknown mountain pack chief, Tomás finds Lani entrancing and irresistible. As a fire erupts between them, igniting passion and desire, they don't realize that the closer they get to locating Lani's mother the closer they are to danger. With a vindictive traitor on their tail, they must battle their enemies while still fighting for what they discovered along the way---each other.
Very exciting!!! That is the best way to describe this one. We get to meet a very strange mountain tribe with a "sex tent," that leads to a very interesting situation. But one thing leads to another and he's on the run with Lani as they try and track down her mother. Now this will all tie back to the hunt for this bad guy (who has a name now) and this is where we really start to get close - but that's all I'm going to tell you about him.

Tomas and Lani are thrown together rather suddenly, but that happens to werewolves that know immediately when they find their mate. Even though this was rather sudden, Lani and Tomas complimented each other very well. There were some language issues that I could never quite figure out. I believe three were spoken, but I couldn't keep track of who was speaking what and who could understand who through all of it.

This was a very action-packed portion of the series, but that didn't seem to distract from the romance. In this case, it was what really drew them together.

As an unbonded and unstable werewolf, Marco worries of getting too close–uncertain of his ability to control himself after shifting. Fearless and courageous, Aria promises to guide him, helping him to confront his past and embrace his future. But can Marco let down his guard and give his body–and soul–to the bodyguard who stole his heart?
My favorite in the series - I just loved Aria and Marco together. They both have their issues, but those issues are make them them so great. Marco is afraid to be intimate and let his wolf out - he thinks he may lose control. Aria is a bit jealous of her friend from book one, and is out on the prowl for a little fix.

Marco is amazingly sensual. As a chef he has learned the value of texure and subtlety.  This carries over into his sexual interactions - whcih are quite unique and sound very exciting. It doesn't hurt that his found sounds delicious too! He may be seductive, but he needs to let go of some things before he can really find happiness. Aria, well, she's something else. She's a little crazy with jealousy, but not in a bad way - and she's being a bit proactive about going out and finding herself a man. Even if it is just for one night.

The Werewolf Bodyguard really opens up the spin off storyline wide open and sets up the whole story arc in a way that you will be sucked into never to return - at least until you finish the series.

Book Review and Trailer: Apocalyptic Moon by Eva Gordon

Dr. Dora Adler's life has been in disarray since the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, but when she gets bitten by one of the undead, her whole world is turned upside down.  Held captive in a secret underground lab, the tall, muscular hunk in the next cell is her only hope for salvation.  Unfortunately, he claims to be a werewolf.  Yeah, and she's supposedly a witch.

Dirk Gunderson is an alpha Arbor pack werewolf.  Captured and collared, he's sold to the zombie lab in hopes his blood serum can create a vaccine.  He needs to escape, but not without the hot little brunette witch.

In the midst of enemy werewolves and the hordes of undead, Dirk and Dora's sexual tension ignites a blaze hotter than the desert highway.  Along their journey, they battle the inevitable: a werewolf must never take a witch as a mate.

Yes, you read the genre correctly.  I consider this a dystopian story - one with zombies taking over the world and civilization crumbling.  But that doesn't mean that a werewolf can't meet a witch in a super secret underground medical lab trying to find a cure.  And it doesn't mean that even though they are both prisoners, that they can't fall in love and in happily every after.....right?

Of course there is the ban against werewolves mating with witches, the massive hordes of zombies waiting to eat them, and the general chaos that one would expect at the end of the world.  But that doesn't stop Dirk and Dora from giving everything they can to make it work - screw the rest, they'll deal with it later.

Dora has become one of my favorite heroines, her snarky attitude and determined mindset were a perfect fit for this story.  Loaded with all the action you could ask for, and plenty of hot werewolf all along the way, I finished hoping for more - and I hear there's a second in the works and I can't wait!

My Review -

Hunter's Moon is a wonderful paranormal romance story of two souls that have suffered much heartache and loss in their lives who discover each other. I really enjoyed this book and how Felicity was able to bring the characters to life on the pages and allow the readers to feel their torment, conflicts, fears and passions. The imagery and the descriptive word play are so well developed that you feel you have been transported into the wilderness that the story is set in and feel the leaves under your feet and the cold air on your breath.

Nicolae is a werewolf and Tatyana is a vampire that he saves from hunters who threaten his peaceful existence on the mountain. Nicolae's long seated hatred for vampires and the cruelty that they imposed onto him and his kind plague him as he tends to her. However, for some reason he is drawn to her and tries to suppress the urges that are building up inside him. Tatyana on the other hand, has never experienced first hand any ill will to werewolves as her bloodline does not keep them as slaves. At times Tatyana is hurt by Nicolae's rough attitude and words to her as she feels that she has done no wrong to him. Later on as the two slowly get to know each other better Tatyana understands why Nicolae despises vampires so much.

The sexual tension between the two of them builds to the point that they wonder whether the other feels the same way. Of course they fear to ask each other how they feel to avoid being rejected thus, the tension builds between them until they cannot resist each other any longer.

It got to the point that I felt like screaming at them to give into what they felt in their hearts. Now I like my paranormal romance books to have lots of hot, sexy scenes and this book had great sexual build up, but only one sex scene. I wished that it had more then just the one. It took so long for them to finally give in to their desires that we were only given the one scene. Now some may prefer that and are ok with it, but I like my characters who crave each other and finally give in to have a little bit more action.

I really would love to see a part 2 to this story because I want to know where the relationship is going to take them and what adventures lie ahead for them. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to all the romantics out there.
