I thought this was a great read! I love the cover too. I
have a love for many things; history and mostly anything mysterious. The two places I want to visit most in the US are
New Orleans and Savannah. So when I read a book with either of those areas I love it. They have so much history and mystery they are the perfect backdrop for
a story. At first I was undecided like
Jazzmyn but once I saw more of Julian’s character I made my decision. I wish she
would have too, lol. She had her doubts but she didn't listen to her gut, and
that was her mistake. Kyle had his issues too but the doubts she had about
Julian were on a deeper and more sinister level. Julian’s cursed and he believes that Jazzmyn
is the only one who can break his curse, but when the time comes, he finds
another little fork in the road to his redemption. To be honest, he deserved
the curse, and still does. He’s a typical arrogant, selfish, chauvinist and
does only what will benefit him. Alexandrea definitely did her job well; I
really don’t like his character, lol. It’s a great read and if you love mystery
and magic I definitely recommend it.
