Authors, how does your website stand up to readers?

I am a She wolf pack leader on a mission: My mission is to hunt down any paranormal romance authors and make sure their website or blog are up to the wolf pack codes. I feel as a paranormal romance review blogger I need to make sure my readers are able to find authors’ websites up to date and in true working order. My goal isn’t to tear anyone down, I want to make authors aware that their websites are very important to all readers, and to make them aware the poor state of their internet reach could be losing them money.

In doing this we all have to remember authors are very busy. Some work outside of the home, so as long as the website is up to date, all is well. If the author has a website and a blog, the blog doesn’t have to be updated each week. I would consider once a month a good rule here.

Is the site easy to navigate? Yes

Buy link by each released book? Yes, this author goes over and beyond making sure you have every link possible to buy one of her books.

Book cover and blurb by each book? Yes

Does the author offer any book excerpts or free chapters? Yes

Can I browse books by SERIES or by GENRE? Yes

Does the author have any warnings listed by the book? Yes

Does the author have upcoming releases on the site? Yes

Dose the authors have their series in order and are it easy to understand? Yes

Does the author offer a bio page? Yes

Is there a way to contact the author? Yes

Does the author offer newsletter? Yes

Does the author have a blog and can you access it easily from the site? Yes and yes

Is the blog updated? Yes 

Rating for the authors site-  A+

Overall review of the authors website- Eve may not have fancy graphic but her site is over and beyond outstanding. Heck, if I had an award button for this feature she would get one.

Things I like and or disliked about the site.

I like the Goodreads feature below each book. I can just click “add book” and bam the book is added to my Goodreads list. I also like how she adds the cover artist and editors with each book.

I have never found anything I disliked on Eve’s site.

Eve’s site has always been one of my favorites to visit. She goes over and beyond to keep her readers informed.
