This was the final installment in the Fifty Shades trilogy and I was so sad to know that it was the end so I purposely took my time to read it and savour every scene and I'm glad I did. It allowed me to really feel that I was part of the scenes, but not only that, it allowed me to FEEL the conflicting feelings that both Cristian/Fifty and Ana had at times during conflicts and to fully to get into their psyche.

As with the previous books Fifty still is quite possessive and controlling at times and Ana has her insecurities, but with both I see tremendous growth not only with their own personal demons but with each other.

I was surprised at how much happened in this book. Most books I have read usually have no more then 3 main events occurring in the storyline, but in Fifty Shades Freed I could easily count 10 situations and in each it focused on the struggles that Christian/Fifty and Ana had to overcome.

As always Fifty Shades Freed did not disappoint with Christian/Fifty's taste for kinky f**kery. Some of the scenes were very hot and all I can say is I loved Fifty's "punishment f**k" and I think many would love to experience it with Fifty. :) The intense passion and tenderness that Christian/Fifty was able to demonstrate with Ana made my heart swoon and made me hot and bothered that I wished I had Fifty all to myself, but I had to deal with a cold shower instead. :)

I found my heart breaking at points in the book as miscommunication and misunderstandings tore at the bonds that they developed and threatened their sense of security and trust with each other. Internal and external forces once again tried to interfere with Christian and Ana's happiness as Christian's past once again came back to haunt them and tried to tear them apart forever.

There were many surprises that occurred in the book and I refuse to mention them as you have to read the book to discover them yourself, but all I can say is that Ana does use the safe word and they both have to face their biggest fears head on. I found it so painful to read at times when it happened.

Again without giving anything away the epilogue was absolutely beautiful, heartwarming and touching and the little extras that the author gave the readers at the end was the cherry on top that I feel like crying just thinking about it.

I have to truly say I am emotionally drained after reading this book. I have never read a book series that has affected me so deeply. I find myself so happy for how everything turned out for the characters but so sad that I will never see Fifty again. I am truly hoping that E.L. James does decides to continue with Fifty somewhere in the near future and I will be wishing and hoping that with Christian/Fifty "that's all ... for now."

The Fifty Shades series is a masterpiece that will be cherished and treasured by many in the years to come and I want to thank E.L. James for sharing this beautiful story with us all.
