Eve Langlais has another winner with Date with Death. I found this novella cleverly written and very sexy. Then again who wouldn’t love to read about a sexy Aztec god who collects the dead for Satan? Mictain isn’t your ordinarily grim reaper that we have come to know today, he is a little different. He’s sent to collect a witch not fall in love with her. But then Marigold is no ordinary witch either. As the daughter of one of the more powerful, he may ended up being dead himself if he isn’t careful. This was another fun read by Eve. If you want something short sexy and fun, here you go.

I loved reading both Mictain and Marigold. Marigold is a fire ball in sex and life in general, so don’t get on her bad side. After Mictain made a grave mistake with Marigold he has to be persistent in winning her love. It makes the reading more fun when the hero has to work on winning the heroine;)

Screw it, he probably thinks I’m nuts already anyway. She peeked down and bit her lip at the bulge which filled out the fabric as she watched. Maybe we should skip dinner and go right to dessert.

“Would you like me to get naked so you can get a better look?” His sarcastic words made her tear her eyes away and look at his face.

Marigold smiled wickedly. “I’d love for you to get naked, but you might find my kitchen chairs cold on the ass seeing as how they don’t have any cushions. But, it’s up to you. I sure wouldn’t mind some visual candy while we eat.”
