Authors website

Ella hears voices and they don’t like anyone.

Institutionalized at a young age after the breakup of her parents, Ella’s always heard voices. Even worse, the voices in her head like to act. She thinks she’s crazy and destined to be a patient for life until the night she meets a vampire and for the first time in her life, the voices shut up.

Zane just wants to enjoy his usual blood buffet, instead he runs into a wisp of a woman who makes him feel emotions he thought long dead. Rescuing her from the insane asylum, he brings her home, determined to assuage his lust; a plan that is foiled by ghostly voices more determined to keep her pure than a steel welded chastity belt.

Together they discover Ella might not be as crazy as everyone thinks, but even as they discover her innate power, someone from her past wants to hurt her. Will crazy and undead prevail against covetous evil? And most important of all, will the voices ever allow them to indulge in the desire that consumes them?

Genre: Vampire/Paranormal Romance
Heat Level: Very Hot (18+)

My review:

I loved Crazy. It’s a unique, sexy and fast pace vampire story. The only problem was Eve, why couldn’t this have been a novel? I am blown away now, if this would have been a novel I think I would have lost my socks LOL. I love both the hero and heroine and how they worked together. You’ll find danger, adventure, a hot sexy vampire (that wears a cape I might add) and one crazy woman that might not be so crazy after all. You’ll have to read to find out how this one lucky woman finds love and ends up with a HEA living in a mental ward.

Warning you may find some violence when Zane goes to take Ella’s maidenhood. LOL this was such a good idea! I was laughing and intrigued the whole time on how these two were going to figure this one out.

If you are a paranormal romance novella reader I strongly recommend this book!!

This book was so unique and hot, but the biggest reason its hard to find a short book with so much passion added plus tie everything together so quick and understand you don't find that much, so i'm giving it the Top Bite award.

  1. By the title and the cover I would have never thought this book a paranormal erotica book dealing with a vampire. Thank you Laurie for the review because now i want to read it and add it to my TBR list. Otherwise I would have bypassed it.

Yes judging a book by its cover and title may seem wrong but with so many books out there to choose from authors need to be able to grab the readers attention somehow otherwise their books will be bypassed.

Since this is such a great book based on your review I hope others discover it. However I think the author should be a little bit more careful next time when choosing a title and cover. Just my honest opinion as reader.

  2. I really like her Princess of Hell series. Very sexy. This sounds like it would be another good one.

  3. DarkBloodyVamp- I recently found that sometimes an author never gets to pick their cover. Which I think is awful.

Paranormal Heaven- I am reading book two in that series now and for what I have read its good.

  4. Thanks Laurie for enjoying my story. It is a little wicked at times lol.

@DarkBloodyVamp -- like Laurie said, while we can give a general idea for the cover, ultimately, we get what they give us. As for the title, I'm guilty of that one. Ella's dilemma to me was the focus of the story, but in retrospect, I agree it doesn't let readers know about the vampire aspect.
LOL, titles are so hard to choose, especially original ones. Maybe I'll run a poll for the sequel.

Thanks for taking the time though to check it out and commment. Reader feedback is always awesome.
