Getting used to life back home in Deer Park, North Carolina, Sydney McCall and her right-hand tabby, Toby, are helping her sister Kat run the local animal shelter. I enjoyed the characters and the depth of the mystery, I even love how one of their own is tossed right in the middle of the mystery, it just made this story all much better of an edge of your seat story.

I would recommend this to anyone that loves cozy cat mysteries. I can’t wait to see what trouble Syd and Toby are going to get into next.
